Melbourne supporters outnumbering Geelong in the CBD by 20-1. I've seen more Storm supporters than Geelong.

We noticed that too walking from the station to the G.

All week, and even today, I've been telling everyone that I'm not nervous about the game.

And I'm not, I know that we've got this...

...But, holy hell - I'm about the head off to the G, and I'm feeling like a week's worth of nerves is about to be crammed into the next 1 hour and 50 minutes!!!!!

So decided to go to the game despite wife being due with our third today of all days! Young and Jackson’s chock a block full of Demons supporters, just got kicked out because my cousin is feeling a little under the whether (read smashed), just arrived at the G. Man o man I have missed This feeling!!! I think I’m about to go completely troppo! GO YOU [censored] GOOD THINGS!!

PS is it just me or does anyone else get a tingle up the spine every time they walk into the G?!!

About to sit down and watch it in Perth, very excited its been a great week.  First final in 12 yrs (Better than my last attended final match in Perth v shockers).  We have been playing good finals type footy the last 2 rounds, far better than when we played the cats each time this year. Stick to our system and let our talent show, and burn those cats.

another gil's friday night blockbuster...............................but why no carlton?

Should be a lightning premiership tonight. Carlton, Saints, Gold Coast and Freo.

Would be much more entertaining than Dees v Cats. ( and better for TV ratings too )

    CROSSROADS by The Oracle

Melbourne stands at the crossroads.  Sunday’s game against the West Coast Eagles who have not met the Demons at the MCG in more than ten years, is a make or break for the club’s finals aspirations.  That proposition is self-evident since every other team the club will be opposed to over the next eight weeks of footy is a prospective 2024 finalist. To add to this perspective is the fact that while the Demons are now in twelfth position on the AFL table, they are only a game and a half b

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi
