I did. To be fair though if I was in the vicinity of Viney throwing my mate around I'd pretend I was on the phone.

not having a phone at CHF, I'd  grab my hammy and limp towards the bench as quickly as possible

i missed the clash between maric and maximus going to the interchange bench. anyone see what happened?

I missed it too, but if it was anything like the actual game, I assume Max won easily.

Shot from the circle before the first bounce was amusing. Maric pacing about geeing himself up. Max watching him with a bemused smile.

lloyd, Barrett....meh

Not too much to discuss really...

Two melbourne haters....could only mention Bugg "showboating" and Hunt's "handball-in" from the goal square...

Well done peanuts... thanks for forgetting our first back to back wins in 5 years.

Showboat coming from Lloyd is abit rich from the grass pulling velvet pansie

And Barrett, yes, there will be a time and a place you [censored] purple  and fortunately you won't get to decide when and where it will be

On SEN this morning that ex umpire Humphrey used exactly the same expression ie he as really frustrated. He also said that Viney was out of line with his response and the free should have been reversed or the 50 not paid.

On another note he defended the deliberate out of bound decisions in that game.

You'd expect an umpire to get at least 50% right.  But not 0/2

Do you mean the 2000 Preliminary Final vs Carlton which we won from behind in a second half boilover partly inspired by Schwartz's demonstration of belief and arrogance?

I thought it was in the GF. I stand corrected.

Still don't like Bugg's attitude re the goal.

Being able to play very unsociable football, when required, is a great addition to the teams skills. We haven't quite got it to 'professional corkies , dropping of knees  or coat hangers but we seem to be able to respond well enough these days.

Lloyd's not a fan of the subtle pestering,  he's more the line someone up and crush their spine when their head's over the ball kind of pest.

Each to their own I guess.  Maybe shut your mouth though fl0g.

Who actually cares about the opinions of the two (or two of the three) so called footy commentators whose opinions I have absolutely least respect for (the other being one who appears to never be sober - no names of course)?

In my view they are irrelevancies.

I feel like Richmond came out and tried to rough us up. Their selections pointed towards that and there were a few scuffles early.

Thing is, if nothing else, we have some real brutes in our side and it played into our hands.

I think they tried to target the likes of Salem, but I think they underestimated the fact that he, and others, would more then stick up for themselves.

Jack Riewoldt on 360 talking about Bugg sending him a text apologising for pushing him whilst in the hands of the trainers.

Didn't exactly seem like he accepted the apology.

As far as pushes go in footy it would rate a 2 out of 10 for intensity.  No real force at all. Can't believe the all the hoopla over it.

Pushing whilst in the arms of trainers is a pretty savage act.

Cutting the head off someone in the name of Allah is a savage act. Pushing someone who is near a trainer is being a bit rascally.

From previous posts I understand that the Reverend Jack has form for doing the same thing himself. Can anyone verify that?

Not that I can recall.

His cousin copped the same treatment against Brisbane years ago and had a little cry on the bench.

Don't take anything the "velvet sledgehammer" says seriously. This bloke made a living by pulling out blades of grass to see which way the wind was blowing, only to then take a 2 minute approach to kicking, which was enough time for the wind to change.

As for Barrett, he is doing everything he can to sell himself as an insider. He knows Jack about Schmidt!

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
