The Tiger's played well, better than expected. But they were playing a very good Adelaide side and umpires that were totally in there favour. Disgusting umpiring. And please noboby talk about the last Grand Final being in Richmond's favour. I'm talking about tonight's match and the AFL being a farce for integrity! All the tarts commentating didn't even mention the bias. Of coarse, payed well.

The usual 'home state, home crowd' advantage, perhaps:rolleyes:!

Wouldn't be surprised if Hardwick comes out and has a big whinge about the free count like he did after losing to the Cats at Kardinia Park last year.

He is a sore loser - witness the hissy fit with a Crows supporter after the game.

Good result for us. Good to see more  top sides droping points so early in the season. Soothes some of the sting from our loss to Geelong. The game against  Brisbane is a must win to keep us on track.

Interesting LH, some angry finger pointing by Hardwick.

The commentators were quick to state the supporter shouldn’t be getting “lippy”, admittedly we have no idea what was said but no negative comment about Hardwick. It wasn’t the case when Oliver had an altercation with the Carlton fan last year.

Jenkins is a key player .. could easily have had 6 goals in the first half.

Betts had some good patches by way of contesting the ball etc but was not dominant on the scoreboard.

As dl4e mentions Richmond's forward line did not really function.

Hope our strategy people were there working on our plan for Anzac Eve.

Out of interest has Martin ever been tagged?

Very true - goes to show, win a premiership and you become untouchable.  Commentators quickly forget how ordinary they were in 2017 (except when it counts in September).  These days Hardwick looks like the proverbial 'cheshire cat'!   I suspect it won't be long before the smug smile is wiped off his face as they revert to their 2017 (pre Sept) form .

Apparently, Ch7 really looked after Hardwick last night:  "The footage came to light after he fronted the media so Hardwick was able to avoid questions about the incident post-match."  For those who haven't seen it footage is in this articlehttp://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-03-29/watch-hardwick-has-altercation-with-fan

Imagine if that was a demon coach, it would have been shown a dozen times straight away and the whole press conf would be dominated by it.

Fogarty for adelaide's  gonna be a ripper.

Hard to believe he is only 18.  He certainly does the #32 proud!

He could have been ours if we had kept pick 10 and done the deal MFC originally wanted:  I recall Mahoney saying something like:  "... one 1st round (either 2017 or 2018) and one 2nd round pick with exchange of other picks..."

Not sorry that we have Lever and I'm sure he will be great for us but time will tell what the true cost was.

Rance manned up and made ineffective, Martin played the last quarter in the forward pocket or on the bench, Reiwoldt well held.

......and Adelaide without Crouch, Douglas and an injured Sloane and Talia.   Toiyges lucky it was only a 6 goal loss.

Nothing like a clanger fest between two bottom four teams on Good Friday.

Saints are generally thought of being around 8-12.

Personally I never saw it. I wonder whether the pundits really understood the effort other teams put into Riewoldt which allowed the other St Kilda players to prosper.

Montagna rarely had a bad game either

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
