wow. We've conceded 51 points in 18 minutes.

I don't care if we are kicking into a hurricane, any chance we put some numbers behind the ball? You would've thought we'd have learned from last week.

I wonder what we will do with the wind? Kick 3 goals?

Kick with the wind?  Hmm .. last quarter against Norf anyone?

We kicked 3 into the wind. They'll kick 5.

Worst quarter of the year. Disgusting lack of effort and genuine attack on the footy.

Leaders have a lot to answer for.

No intensity and no pressure two weeks in a row when the season is on the line. Missing one player in our best 22. Just no excuses for this. Absolutely pathetic.

Heartless, unaccountable football. And in just 15 minutes, our season is over. Wow!

We are giving them so much space.  They just waltz away with it, while we are being tackled as soon as we get it.

We'll be doing well to break even this quarter.

Loss of 50+ coming up

giants on fire

Turnover king Tyson at it again.

Do we know what slowing the game down is about.?

Disposal putrid.

We'll be leading at half time.

That's our season summed up in a quarter: hope, potential, looks good, and then brought down back to Earth.

I don't really care if they lose today. Fact is that it shouldn't matter because we should have taken care of North last week.

We didn't, so now it stands that we're just making up the numbers.

THey will ice the clock now that we have the wind and turn it into a bog. The fact after last week that we havnt learnt to do this is ridiculous

And when a team is scoring like that why the F$%k do we handball. YOU STOP and take your bloody time.

We should just save time and rather than handball just give it to a GWS player. Its the same thing.

We have NO leadership at ALL. NONE. Watts doesnt want to put his body on the line and Garlett has decided to take the day off.  Jones rushed in and Viney must be injured cos he wasnt sighted in the last 15mins.

We won't kick 8 goals for the rest of the game let alone with the wind this quarter to get back in it. GWS had a bruise free game last week, we're flat and carrying sore bodies. I'm calling a 80+ point loss and season over.

13 players yet to lay a tackle!!!

they are over double the tackles

No chance. The Giants pressure is scary

Nothing to do with the wind.  Most of their goals came within striking distance. They absolutely dominated around the ball and in transition.

We must keep the losing margin below 30 points. We can't afford much of a percentage drop. Lose by 10 goals and imo our season is finished.

Season done we have been on the down since about round 13. I have never seen such a poor defensive efforts they just let them spread without restriction absolute shite footy

Wow what a turn around.

Hopefully we can close the gap with the wind. Not very confident though

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
