Haha good god no, the kid would be crushed, physically but mostly mentally.

He seems to be slowly turning the corner a little at Casey, that’s where he needs to stay.

That  selection would be surely the definition of desperation .He has shown absolutely nothing to date and doesn't even deserve consideration .

Have u watched his last 3 weeks??

Would be feeding him to the Wolves if we played him now, plus JVR and Fullarton can come into the side.

If we out of contention with 5 Rounds to go, then I would give him a go.

Yes I have watched him closely .He played a reasonable first quarter yesterday and that was it .Not even taking  a grab which was his one strong area .Maybe he will develop but I'm not in the least bit confident .What I am confident of is that he is not remotely at present up tp AFL standard .

No.

He plays one good quarter every game. Sometimes it's not even a quarter, more so 15-20 minutes maybe.

I have, and he is showing some promising signs, so why ruin that by throwing him to the wolves before he's ready?

I'd consider giving Sestan a run in the seniors before Jefferson. Has made some good strides this year.

He is developing well, gets to all the right places and presents in the air well. But he is another season away from being AFL ready and will be less effective than Petty or BBB.

Is this the prompt to call him Juice Jefferson, after your previous full forward love child?

There are forward issues but it’s the midfield performance that’s killing us. We are missing Gus big time. Oliver is a shadow of his former self, we are a 30 plus possession midfielder short.

What has our list managers done that's left us in a situation where we our best key forward is 187cm.

JVR has shown some promise but he is as fustrating as Petty at times.

Petty was a premiership defender and we throw him forward because we can't trade/draft any one [censored] decent.

He's just starting to find his feet at Casey Picket.

Showed some very positive signs early on Sat but then dropped away again.

Fullarton should've played ahead of Brown to see what he can offer and as a chop out for Max (not Petty!).

Petty's efforts / energy would have been better served playing more time forward and as an outlet mark / interceptor down the lline tonight.

Agree but again he is presently struggling to play out 4 quarters at a high level for Casey.

He also seems to lack the white line manic attack at the ball to take the next step.  Might find it as the year goes on but will need to imv if he's to get the call up.

Always looks better playing inside 50.  Pretty good by foot as well.  Is he a possibility to replace Billings?  Kicked four goals yesterday but very quiet after half time.

    CONSISTENCY by The Oracle

"I think we have got a team that can win a premiership, and if we get in this year, I don't think there is a team that is going to want to play us. This year is not a write-off, I don't concede that. Not at all." — Collingwood President Jeff Browne. I love this sort of optimism from the Magpie President after his club’s eleven goal defeat at the hands of the fast rising Hawks. It’s consistent with the fighting spirit of the club that won last year’s flag.  I only wish I could say the s

    FEARS by Whispering Jack

Melbourne’s worst fears about the absence of Max Gawn were realised when it received a shellacking from Fremantle’s ruckmen Sean Darcy and Luke Jackson who dominated the hit out tally in their game at Optus Stadium on Sunday by a massive 47 to 19. As a result, the 50-point deficit at the end of the game proved to be a loss that was long foreseen that was two years in the making and demonstrated a complete lack of hindsight and planning from the club. To add insult to injury, Jackson was a D

    RAIN CHECK by Whispering Jack

The Frankston Dolphins broke a run of six straight losses against their neighbours, the Casey Demons and kept their hopes for a long-awaited return to the VFL finals alive with a 27 point victory over at Kinetic Stadium. Casey was welcomed to the Peninsula by grey skies, heavy rain and angry seas with threatening white-capped waves whipped up by gale force winds. After a slow start in the opening term when they failed to take advantage of the breeze, it appeared that the Demons had decided
