We have at the moment a potential 200 game very good player in number 29.  This guy is fantastic to watch and very competitive.  If he can lower his eyes, improve his kicking, he will go from very good player to AFL elite!  Hope our coaches develop this side of his game and he will be a complete player.

Today wasn't one of his better games. Turned it over a lot. But if you're gonna turn it over, gaining 90m in the process is probably the way to do it.

The girly headband and flashy style fools opposition players IMO. The guy is no pansy, in fact he's probably only behind Viney and a couple of others as toughest at the club.

He is a genuine weapon for us.  Today was not his best game and he was still able to influence the contest.  We are dangerous and unpredictable with the ball in hand.

What I think also gets overlooked is how tough the kid is.  He can stick a tackle as good as anyone else and he never shirks a contest.  A fantastic weapon to have in our side.

Hard as [censored]. And at that speed that's seriously courageous.

Loved the tackle in the second half I think it was on Byrne-jones or Powell-pepper he smashed him over the boundary

There was no getting out of that tackle by  Powell Pepper. Hunt absolutely nailed him !!!!

Not only is he one of the most exciting players at the club, he one of the most exciting in the AFL. Fast as, hard at it and can kick goals from outside 70....yet to play his 50th game.

Fantastic player. His blazing away is his weakness, but as mentioned in the OP, it is the difference between being a very very good player, and an absolute elite player.

I suppose it would be pretty hard to run swo fast and balance at the same time. I have had awful difficulty at either of those skills.

However I agree

Also loved the way ANB followed it up and gave it to PP as he was getting up. Seriously good stuff from them both.

Any player judging their opponent on their haircut deserves what they get!

He doesn't really have any weaknesses.   Amazing hes come from nowhere and looks like he could be moving to superstardom.

It's a bit of a dice roll when he disposes of the ball - you know something is going to happen, you're just not sure if it's going to be amazing or something awful.  I think it's a function of his MO of doing everything at maximum speed; he needs to add composure to his repertoire.

It's not a complaint, though, just an observation.  I commented early on last year that it wasn't just that he's fast, but he's also much tougher than he looks like he should be.  I haven't changed my view.  Just love him.

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
