Anyone else absolutely love the Melkshake?

Hitting the scoreboard again (6 goals in 2 weeks), and his field kicking is elite.

Loved seeing him put on  a clinic against his old team.  They could definitely use his toughness, professionalism and kicking ability.

A very good low possession game.

3 brilliant passes which led to goals and also kicked a couple himself.

Played really smart today and used his body well. Blocked and tackled perfectly.

Rioli-like

I was a knocker, but the last couple of games have changed my opinion. Well done to him.

One of the ABC commentators I think said that Melk and Hibberd were rejects from the drug lords:  I would see them as escapees or refugees.  Both are doing a great job after a quiet start to the season.

Absolutely agree. Both wanted out of Essendon after that fiasco and both are hitting their straps and regaining that 2017 form. Important cogs in the wheel.

Drugs Lord did not want to get did of Hibberd, Milkshake not sure, i think his best and worst are schizophrenic, and they were frustrated.

Most Bomber supporters were happy to lose Melksham but not Hibberd.

The general view with M was as per Stretch's comment that his worst and best were a long way apart. His inconsistency and brain fades frustrated Bomber supporters to the nth degree.

Melk has been more consistent since coming over. His starts to the seasons have been slowish but gets better as the season progresses.

He was great yesterday, his field kicking was brilliant.

lets hope he holds that form

General feeling from the Peptides is we paid overs for Melksham and unders for Hibbo

Shows you how much they knew....Ha Ha

My opinion for a while is well known. Now i will add that he, Melksham is a leader in waiting. His analysis is measured and rational.

"They [my teammates] are all really good but one today was probably Jake Melksham he was always barking at me, in the right way, letting me know when to stand and helping me out a fair bit. Always keeping me composed and helped me if I ever needed anything today," he said (Charlie Spargo)

Also great Leadership from Jake.  The defensive forward role suits him big time!

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the
