I'm not even emotionally over Tuesday's game yet. Do we need to do it all over again already?

It's feels like I'm 20 years old again and getting sh*tfaced on bourbon and the next day saying I'm never going to do that again.

I hope tmac can play. I would risk him along with Hogan and the weed in the forward line with Hogan playing CHF against essenscum. They will then have to put Hooker in the backline. I'd have Garlett (just) with Hannan and Fritsch as the other forwards. They could rest the weed and put Pedo in but I doubt it.

No Pedo? If we are going to continue bombing the ball into a vacant forward line  surely we'd be better with him in the team?

Tmac I hope is picked to take that spot

Bombers have a few out too.

Josh Begley, Tom Bellchambers, Josh Green, David Myers and Michael Hartley are all out with youngsters including Kobe Mutch and Dylan Clarke potential ins.

Vince needed to be rested on the short break especially with fellow slow plodding dinosaur Lewis back. Not good.

We will lose this game.

Harmes is a forward and has kicked one goal!  He should be dropped, done nothing in 5 weeks.

He did lay 9 tackles against Richmond, so not exactly "done nothing".

We've kept both ANB and Harmes. Insane.

We cannot keep giving ANB games because he clocks up big running numbers. We cannot keep giving Harmes games because he tackles. Neither of them do anything else and it's costing us.

Good decision to drop Stretch. We don't need to see another game from him to know he isn't good enough.

Will be interesting to see if we play either of Hannan and Fritsch. I would have included one or both of them for ANB/Harmes. Since we're not dropping either of them, it becomes much harder to see where Hannan/Fritsch slot into the side.

Spargo to debut, according to MFC twitter

WHAT A [censored] JOKE!

PEDO NOT EVEN ON THE BENCH. WELL HIS PAPERS ARE STAMPED HE WON'T BE AROUND NEXT YEAR. IF HE CAN'T GET A GAME WITH HIS FORM HE'LL NEVER GET A GAME.

ANB AND HARMES CONTINUE TO GET A GAME. THE SELECTION COMMITTEE ARE A BUNCH OF MORONS.

Congrats to Spargo, I doubt McDonald will play considering he trained at Casey.

Lucky we are playing Essendon we wouldn't be able to beat another side on paper.

POSSIBLE LINE UP

B: J.WAGNER, O.MCDONALD, JETTA

HB: BRAYSHAW, LEVER, HIBBERD

C : HUNT, OLIVER, SALEM

HF: NEAL-BULLEN, HOGAN, MELKSHAM

F: GARLETT, WEIDEMAN, FRITSCH

FOLL: GAWN, TYSON, JONES

IC: SPARGO, LEWIS, VINCE, HARMES

EMERG: HANNAN

Best of luck to Spargo on his debut. Though small in stature, he's big in fight. I think he can be a good player for us long-term, so excited to see him out there!

Seriously we must be the only club in history unlucky enough to have a player get bitten by a dog, develop an infection so bad it gets into the bone and requires surgery. FML!!!

I would have Fitsch, Hannan, tmac and Garlett from the interchange with garlett being on his last song. I see people saying Spargo to play so that 4 maybe not. Harmes lucky to be playing and I would like to know why Lewis is automatically selected as well as Vince.

This might be because the guys who played on Tuesday probably didnt train, and they wanted to get a full session into him

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
