24 posts and not one person calling for Melksham to be dropped.  Its a miracle.

There's no one to bring in for Melksham. Possibly when Wagner is fit, Melksham will be in trouble.

Yeah because he played his role and attacked well off half back.

I think he's done that most weeks this year but maybe stuck out more so today.

Not just Goodwins favourite.

I may have misheard but I got the impression from Jack Watt's post match interview that Hogan would be back next week

Having just been through what Hogan’s been through, I was very ready to get back to my normal routine as soon as I could. Not everyone’s the same though, and I suspect Hoges might have a bit of trouble getting up.

Hogan will play.

He's a pro and will be looking to get back into it. Understandable if he needs another week but would be surprised if he doesn't play.

Why would you be surprised if he don't ?

A poor comment.

Hogan should take as much time as possible. Forget football and let him be with his family as much as possible.

You've misread my comment. I said it was understandable if he took another week. But knowing him I would be surprised if he didn't play.  Me being surprised would be entirely based on my own interpretation of his own character. I'd be surprised, but not disappointed bevause I'd understand.

All will depend on if Hogan wishes to play, but I'll go with him not playing.

Out: JKH, Bugg

In: Trengove, Weideman

No no no no.

Make Weid earn it.

Only change should be Hogan if his is ready.

This is outrageous I thought Bugg did some fantastic work today and I reackon we are a better team with his no nonsenec approach in it

Trengove , Look I dont care how many touches he gets and a very substandard VFL! The game has passed him by, he is too slow!

Two Changes

In Hogan, White

Out Neal Bullen, jkh

Weeds needs to build some confidence for a week or two kicking a few goals at Casey. Another question , why call it Casey why not Cranbourne coz after all thats where it is!!?

Maybe Jack should try to give Jess a run for her money. She ran a 2.26 in London last weekend!

To be honest I think it's pointless to suggest hogan will play until we hear that he will, I wouldn't be surprised if he misses a few weeks yet.

Who knows?  Perhaps his family will encourage him to get back asap "to honour dad's memory", or maybe he and they will need more time.  Only he can tell.

I haven't seen today's game -- bearing in mind team balance, who would go out for him on today's performances?

I get the call for JKH to be out but you can see he's unpredictable with the footy, plays his role and is hard at it. It make sense the coaches are trying to give him time to hit his straps. I wouldn't complain if Stretch replaced him though. Other than that, Jesse can come in for whoever if, and only if he's ready.

Tyson was a bit better this week as was Jake the Shake.

And no mention of Omac either. He was oddly inconspicuous in such an all-round shank-fest.

Clarry needs a break. Only 33 possessions today. Dropping off the pace. Seems a bit tired.

Yup. I don't know if he will drop the mark or not... just kidding, of course he will drop the mark.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
