Haha despite the fact it was never an actual offer, the actual comment was I would join him in the back of a police vehicle after I had picked myself up from the gutter outside the cricketer's...

Your denial is understandable stuie. Never mind.

If we beat Norf, I'll scratch my head in disbelief,  kick my heals in the air and stop to smell the roses, because as a Melbourne supporter we don't get to do that often enough.

Probably good that we got this loss out of the way, in past years we left bad loses to weaker opponents to later in the year (GWS in 2014, Carlton last year).

Still, I can't see us getting within 5-6 goals of North after last week.

I'd actually be really [censored] off if they win.

But they won't. These funks tend to last 2-3 weeks. I seriously would not be surprised if it's 80+ point loss.

Anyway, what will I do if they win? Probably nothing. I don't trust them after a win anymore. It would seriously infuriate me.

It would the first of the very many steps required by this club, which I love and have loved for decades, to regain any semblance of my respect (though I am now quite unsure if they actually care, to be honest)

After Saturday it is a very very long road.

Pity nobody in charge reads these fora.

Finally get to enjoy the sweet taste of beating my most hated team. Literally every North supporter I know is a massive [censored], including my now ex boss.

I literally want to beat North more than any other side, and yet this never happens. Doubtful this will be the week.

I hear you Jaded. We can certainly hope they win.

Lol. Did we expect to beat the cats last year? I thought we'd lose to the dons but beat the roos. Our phycology is very predictable

Yeah, we'd be OK if our phycology was unpredictable! :)

I get what you mean tho', and I agree with you. If an opposition coach does their homework on us, they can stifle s fairly easily, and it's fairly predictable how we'll react. Woosha's eyes would have lit up from the moment that T-Mac ran first one way across the ground in d50, then the other, took about the 4th or 5th option & inevitably turned it over.

I would think they would, they'd be crazy not to be on top of fan feedback. This forum is essentially free research for them, to get an idea what their most engaged fans think of the club.

I know schwab read these forums and I think he even posted a few times.

Be surprised, and thoroughly enjoy the kick to kick on the ground after the game.

Well, obviously the first thing to do is to work out how many years the Demons and Kangaroos will be competing against eachother in Grand Finals.

:roos:

If we beat North I will roll my eyes at the absurdity of our game and our club, feel a lot better, and the focus on sending both Collingwood and Richmond into a crisis in the next two weeks.

And after that, I will be absolutely sure we will get smashed by St Kilda, even if (especially if) both Riewoldt and Montagna are injured that day.

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
