be interesting to see how close this possibly mirrors the Bluey

More interesting that Jack Watts who apparently cant play much and should be delisted is in the top ten

Dlanders are a forgiving lot

Nah. The Jack Watts haters are just really really loud.

Well done Bernie.

Can we not turn this into a Watts bashing thread.

Turn it into a Lolmumba bashing thread please.

Ok, so they dont read the supporters webites (or so we are told), but I just wonder whether a player would get just a small kick out of being named the best, by the more rabid / avid supporter groups?

Well done Bernie, so nice to see a trade-in perform like you did this year. Very good form, and keep up the aggression.

faulty

*can see Hogan dominating this, as early as next year.

Congrats Bernie. I think it will be a very close Bluey! I think this top5 will be the same top5 in Bluey. Although different in order a little.

Interesting to see Howe down at 15th

And he wants a big coin contract

You mean 21st

Despite playing every game

Thought McDonald would hold on for a minute there, but well done Bernie! Probably the best individual season from a demon midfielder we've seen for some years.

I reckon the top 7 will be spot on with the Bluey. My only question is has Viney played enough games. The way we award Bluey votes penalises players that miss games.

And Wow, Toumpas played 9 games and finished ahead of Howe, Dunn, Dawes....hmmmm

Okay. A pitiful 4 votes at his reported salary would be about $150K a vote. On that basis Vince would be worth almost $22M a season. And Lumumba wasn't dropped at any stage because ????

I think the top seven will be the same in the Bluey as well, possibly with Cross & Jones slightly higher.

Dunn was a bit stiff to have only 18 odd votes I thought. And Jimmy getting more votes from not a lot of games?

Ok , "Lubumba"(sic) just about sums up his year .

I don't hate WATTS but it is time for him and the DEES to part way. If he didn't drop himself he may have finished 8th instead of 9th. Dawes finished below Pedersen ( both vying for CHF at one stage),what a great investment that was.(DAWES).Was Lubumba a better player when he went under the name of O'Brein ?

I genuinely think there should be a Supporters Player of the Year awarded officially by the club. I know we are mostly dills but it happens in English football, and as noted above, I reckon the player would get a big kick out of receiving something official based on love from the supporters.

Bernie Vince had his birthday bash last night 80s dress up theme. Just saw on Chris Dawes instagram that he is dressed up as Paull Roos in his Fitzroy days lol.

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
