Don’t you just hate it when a hacker gets into your X account and all they do is upload a singular image of your hammer from your mobile phone.

If it was us there would be 5 stories about poor culture. None yet that I have seen on Carlton. Why? I think I know the answer.

West coast not exactly flying on the old culture front either. Not a peep though

Yes strange but probably as expected. No chance one will come from WA but why not from Vic?

Newman is a big out. I didnt rate him as a player for many years, but he has built a solid career and is the leading voice in their defence. He was going to move into the midfield this year.

Sayers has always had a bit of an underlying stench to him. A little bit of smoke but no visible fire situation. I'm not surprised.

Carlton's list is bloody solid though. I wouldn't be dancing on their 2025 grave just yet.

It's a prerequisite for the presidency down there.

Even from my limited knowledge of the electronic world there appears some big problems with the hacked excuse. As well why take a picture of your gear? If it was on there it can't be used illegally. I keep on at my grand daughter. Never take a picture you would not want me to see.

Hope you don't live in Tasmania OD.

Let’s face it, club presidents are a dime a dozen. Carlton will get over the change at the helm if it has to happen.

A deeper problem is the injury situation and the fact that, apart from losing Newman who is a high value player, others of the calibre of Charlie Curnow and Sam Walsh missing the preseason lead up is a big blow.

No they won't, this will follow them for a while, just like it did with us.

Meh ... Sayers is on his way out at the end of the year in any event. I don't have any time for him after the PWC scandal broke which rubbed off on him. He is on the way out the door whether this is a scandal or a hack attack.

More upset about Newman being out for the season and quite possibly the end of his career given he will be 33 next year. There is a lot of depth in that position but Newman is an experienced head, has a bit of mongrel in him and is a good distributor of the ball from HB.

Having Silvagni and Docherty back for experience and tenacity is good though. This is young Cowan's time to cement himself in his 3rd season.

Immediate playing future.

That's not a phrase you're ever happy to hear when used in relation to a player in the team you support - particularly one of the team's best players.

No it isn’t is it. Feel like we just came through our own version. A certain Brownlow night rumour may have had validity.

Normally with the wording of the article it’s always relating to one thing.

Replace Jamarra with Oliver and Western Bulldogs with Melbourne and I reckon the exact same tweet went out last off season

If the Blues are relying on Silvagni and Docherty then your season is already shot

Nor are the Cats. Had a few players with indiscretions past 6 months.

Interesting take today from Sam Manure on Jamarra Ugle-Hagan, and what his immediate playing future looks like, given he has not been training with the team, and the Bulldogs granting him leave for personal reasons.  I do hope everything is okay with Jamarra but let's face it, if he was at Melbourne, Manure would be screaming "CULTURE PROBLEM AT THE CLUB!"

Yep. Dogs are a media favourite as they have quite a few ex-players in the media and they play SEXY FOOTBALL.

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
