Just reading the ladder now. 6 of the eight are from interstate with only Melbourne and Hawthorn from Victoria. Had a great laugh as Richmond are NINTH. Long way to go but feeling good after this round.

Meth Coke will be up there this year, purely because if that new Stadium.

Built for them...

the crowd sure helped get them going in that last Quarter

Hmm their midfield is average, Naitanui in masks a lot of their deficiencies. Don’t doubt the stadium will help them snag some wins but my point was more that Geelong are over-rated. Eagles reserves are bog-average too they were pumped by a non-aligned clubs in their first game of the WAFL season last week.

You could be right. But all sides will be bog average at times. I don’t underestimate any side this year, except Carlscum, The Aints and i hope Essendrug.

There are 15 other side who can all play.

And Meth Coke have a Brand New Fortress that will benefit them

Ha Ha couldn't help myself. Had to go to bomberblitz. They sound like us after a loss. Sack everyone, where's the leadership bagging players. But get to the page where Daniher stuffed up and it just gets better and better.

Ablett pinging a hammy, thats a massive story. But if the cats hold on it will be a gutsy win coming back from 6 goals down and with half a bench.

Just nice to see the universe return to its natural state of order... bomberblitz meltdowns

They punish the arrogant yet feed the meek (supporters)

They've been seeing how BT goes about it and realised they need to up their game.

(Answer: yes)

You can add Bazel Z to that as well.

Surely W Coast Ground Administration will not be allowed to put all those revolving lights on immediately after the finish of a tight game that is going to be decided by a "potentially blinded" kick after the siren. Bearing in mind it could happen to both sides........

I’m not one to ever wish injury or take enjoyment in players getting injured, but gees I’m so happy the “big 3” have proven to do nothing but take up a lot of ego at the Cattery. Can’t stand all 3 of those arrogant, money hungry, ducking pricks.

David king is  so in love with Geelong and Dangerfield, that he said Geelong have no  concerns at all, and that we have huge concerns. See how  well brisbane played port. Going to play at the gabba with the heat and slippery humid conditions is as hard as playing west coast in Perth.

Essendon are experimenting with new performance enhancing supplements. No more peptides but fresh raw meat. Once cannibals ate  their enemies so as to appropriate their strengths. Coner McKenna it appears bit a nice chunk out of Tory Dickson’s neck after being run down. Whatever it takes.

Yep, makes you wonder they would ever go to Geelong.....when there is three other perfect fits closer to the "big hub"

With all the scrutiny on Jack Watts ordinary game against Brisbane,  kudos to ex Dee Stefan Martin. 30 disposals, 49 hitouts, 13 contested possessions, 9 inside 50’s and 177 AF points. Well done.

The amazing thing is that he managed to do it without drawing blood.

Having said that, I cannot believe that he only got 3 weeks.

Subiaco are no ordinary WAFL side they are the best club in the comp and have been for the last 30 years. Jarred Schofield is a gun coach and has them well drilled

    CROSSROADS by The Oracle

Melbourne stands at the crossroads.  Sunday’s game against the West Coast Eagles who have not met the Demons at the MCG in more than ten years, is a make or break for the club’s finals aspirations.  That proposition is self-evident since every other team the club will be opposed to over the next eight weeks of footy is a prospective 2024 finalist. To add to this perspective is the fact that while the Demons are now in twelfth position on the AFL table, they are only a game and a half b

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well
