Genuine all round true blue bloke. Timmy chose one Mr. G Lyon for the next freeze challenge at the G on QB weekend against the pies. They showed gazza getting called out by Timmy and Gazz was stoked! Very sad to see him like this but if we can all get behind his cause I think the Rev's sprits wld lift a little. One thing you could never question with Neil was his g&d and he sure showed an immense amount of it tonight.

Head to www.freezemnd.com if u wld like to help out the cause

Anyone know Gaz?

If you do, call him up and get him to nominate the purple headed [censored] and that [censored] Hutchy and they will smash $40,000 in no time...

Horrible news for the Daniher's, all the best to them

Garry has already nominated BT who nominated Mark Robinson who then nominated Luke Darcy.

Queens birthday will be great seeing these football people going down thew slide into the ice pool.

Its a great cause and im presuming Neale depending on his health will be there to.

I met Neale a number of times. A true gentleman.

So many [censored] live to a ripe old age.

How could anyone believe in karma and similar concepts? Fate is just so random.

Sensational. Can't help but smile at this

Just saw his talk to the boys - must admit there were more tears than smiles on my face.

What a man.

So proud our club has been graced by the Rev and Stynes.

Very sad to happen to such a nice person & a coach who gave his all to the footy club.....

The club should support him & his family as much as possible....

10 yr coach, 6 final series, 2 prelims, & 1 GF all out of Junction Oval training facilities!

Greatest footy moment at that game when Adem Yze's kick off the ground to put us in front, landed on my chest behind the goal, as we all went off...

So sweet a day that was...

Thanks Neale and best wishes.

The prelim a couple of weeks later against North was something pretty special. Wiz put in a blinder that night and it was a great feeling knowing that we were into the Granny for the best part of a quarter. Good memories.

This current MFC really gives me the shits, i want the old one back. The one that gave me joy. Even if it was only every even year (bar 1996).

To my horror I left off Robbie Flowers name - probably because I still can't believe he is gone.

The vision they showed today of him addressing the players was beyond inspirational. It's little wonder they came out breathing fire.

I'd implore all my fellow Landers to text FREEZE to 0400 064 064 and get behind the Rev in this worthy cause.

I always liked Neal and he achieve something that only one other has achieved in half a century.

He got us into a GF

I enjoyed going to the football while he was coach something that has been very rare since.

What a quality guy ND is. His speech to the boys last week was absolutely inspiring, with passion, and a great love for the MFC. WE should never forget that he had a finals record second to only Norm Smith himself in terms of its consistency in the modern era,

All the best Neale, and let's hope that medical breakthrough is just around the corner...

I managed to find this:

That vision had me in tears. Neale Daniher - Essendon might claim you as one of theirs but you will always be a Demon to me.

Footy is an extremely tough business, but life for some is a bloody side tougher. Danners has excelled at both!

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
