H Lumumba Cannabis Beat-Up

Mountain out of a molehill.

Clearly someone is trying to disturb either the MFC or Lumumba, being right on the cusp of the season and all. An issue that was seemingly put to bed over 2 years ago now decides to pop-up again...............convenient!

Heretier should use it as motivation for the season. If all goes to plan, come September he can light a big one on the premiership dais for all i care!

This is the Footy Show and Barrett, if we stop now and the club and H stand together, it will go away

I watched for five minutes, when it was noticed Gary Lyon was now wearing glasses, Bill Brownless called him 'four eyes', as a spectacle wearer for 40 odd years, I intend to go in and complain in person tomorrow

Who cares.

3 years ago. Average stuff from Barrett and the footy show.

As you say, 3 years ago

Wasn't even Hertier Lumumba but one Harry O'Brien

Not even MFC but the Pies

Didn't even say he smoked (which would be unlikely for any serious athlete) any way but asked a hypothetical.

Huge failed attempt at a beat up by a pathetic excuse for a journalist

Incredibly, it is the first story on AFL.com.

Yes, even ahead of the Bulldog betting scandal. What a disgrace that site is.

This is not news, Barrett must be desperate. " BREAKING NEWS" today Chris judd seen washing his car

Exactly.

To think he has had the whole off season to find a story and he produces this rubbish, shows you how good he really is.

At the risk of doing no more than contributing to a chain of really appalling puns*, which is already sputtering into life here: is this 'news' no more than part of the smokescreen being blown up to help Essendon to slip unnoticed into the night?

* or c.r.a.p. (a Demonland trade mark)

Interesting that it was all quiet whilst he was at the Magpies, but rears it's head at the start of a new season with a new club on the footy show .

Eddie?...

Interesting indeed. More likely the ambulance chaser has been sitting on it for years because he's petrified of Eddie.

I was told a few years ago that H may have had more in common with swanny that people realised, I laughed it off.

Now I Wonder if there is any truth to it.

So smoking weed is equivalent to hanging out with bikies and whatever else that loser Swan has gotten himself, and others, into?

And HL actually asked the AFL about the ramifications of second hand smoke...what kind of 'loose cannon' does that?

Nick Maxwell said that Collingwood tolerate Swan but have told him that he must not fraternise with the younger players, what a healthy situation that is...

Should be ignored. There are a few excellent sports writers ie martin flanagan, but the general mill of sports journalists and footy media scrum are not doing the job because they are intelligent talented professionals. They are doing the job because they don't have much else going for them. They were not top of the class at school or university. They are at the bottom of the pile. The standards are low. Their talent, ability and integrity are low. Barrett is at the bottom of the pile. Same thing could be said of the footy show and all those who do their bidding.

DB most likely knew this information years ago, but Eddie would never let him come out with it while he played with Collingwood, Barrett has a ongoing thing where he will denigrate any player traded to the Dees, and with Tyson or Salam when ever one of them has a form slump he will be right on it to criticize the club for tradingpick 2 for anyone of them, even if it takes 10 years.

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
