Yep...he won it for us...bless his hairy lip ;)

I mentioned that on the podcast the other night. He destroyed us in the second quarter but could not kick accurately. It kept the door open for us and we won.

Damn the defeatist attitude on this forum is becoming unbearable this week. Yes, we have been shizen for most of the last 2 games but need I remind everyone that Richmond are on top of the ladder?

OMac just kept Riewoldt quiet for most of the last game, despite some clearly excellent delivery from the Tigers midfield. Daniher may get off the leash once or twice, but he won't be the difference. OMac will be on this week again.

If he had kicked straight who knows if he would have kicked 6 goals!

Remember after a goal is scored the game starts again and. It’s a different scenario. We may have scored not Essendon.

With Bellchambers rested, the ugliest man in football will probably find himself in the ruck more this week.

Their only asset is to score quickly at Etihad. They can be shut down by a good side and like us they don't have a plan B.

Melbourne have scored poorly in the last two weeks and haven't been capable of playing 4 quarters. Their backs in Hurley and Hooker should be able to control Weids and Hogan so we never get clear of them, then if they turn on their best game in one quarter and score heavily against us we will lose.

Essendon can definitely win this match. The wild card for us is TMac. If he plays well we can win. Anyone who thinks we should just win is delusional. It's an even money contest.

We seem to be "that club" that forwards somehow find form against.

I expect him to kick a few, but he will have a tough time doing it on Omac.

Oscar has been solid.

He's got better this year for sure. Maybe our only bloke who has.

Oscar will towel him up.

Joe will come right up the ground if starved of supply. He does this. Also means Ess path to goal becomes weaker...showed up against Pies.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
