Hmmm

Well .....

Too many NQR players in this game. I overestimated the ability of the likes of White and Wagner to plug gaps. All the footsoldiers struggled. Bugg, the less said the better.

Viney out really hurt, and will hurt.

It's disappointing the be so comprehensively outplayed, but we weren't going to go the whole season without losing again. If we were going to have this game, it might as well be against the rampaging Swans, at the end of 4 games in 18 days, with a third of our best side out, including our two skippers and our three best forwards.

We dust ourselves off and get on with it I think. And hopefully get a few footballers back soon.

Disappointing but I'm not overly suprised. Take Buddy, Parker, Kennedy, Reid out of the swans, and see how they fair. Essentially who we are missing.

8 day break and on to the Blues.

On a positive, thought Oscar was good again in a well beaten side.

Missed jones and Viney in that 2nd half badly! Most of all, seriously missed Salem. Disposal out of the back half was terrible.

We looked cooked. Consecutive 6 day breaks, coming back from Perth, undermanned, sore... Im proud of the effort. Always a bridge too far.

Played like baked spuds tonight... Baked 4 times in 18 days.

And the commentary in this games was dreadful...do these guys ever listen to their broadcasts and get embarrassed?

Not the end of the world, few short breaks, smashed by injury. But we fought it out, just not good enough with those outs.

Fingers crossed Viney isn't to bad but gee it doesn't look good

We've looked stuffed from the first bounce. Injuries, exhaustion - all good reasons why this round is a good learning experience.

Didn't give up, just looked shattered and physically unable to compete. That boot camp maybe should have been tougher. More bricks.

BT is loud and senile and shouldn't be allowed to stand by himself outside the milkbar let alone broadcast to an international audience.

Bruce just...just awful. Should just take his soggy Lance Franklin poster and [censored] off.

Despite those two yearning for it I don't think we lost any respect within the comp from this.

The looks on Nathan Jones and Jack Vineys' faces says it all.

Go Dees

Edit: Bugg lost any respect he possibly had

Won't win another game until we get good players back from injury. No Jones, Hogan, Watts, Garlett, Salem, Viney and Tyson.... that's impossible to cover. Hoping we can still make finals from here though. O Mac and T Mac probably our best tonight.

We've covered some key outs for a few weeks, but tonight it caught up us- we were seriously lacking in class and quality.

Heaps of negatives that we can take away, but one of those that's probably best moved on from quickly.  As far as 'thumpings' go, 35 points is not a disaster percentage wise.

Viney confirmed Plantar Fascia.

Great... a month at least.

Bug u really let the team down tonight.

He would have been dropped if he didn't get suspended. 6 possessions 33%. Simply shocking. I have defended him a lot recently too.

And the night just got a lot worse.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
