Based on your track record, I call bs.

I wasn't far off when I said we'd beat North by 113 points.

The banter on GNF is beyond boring these days.  I just choose to go with believing him if it's something I want to hear, and ignoring him if it's not.

I believe you, GNF.

Its actually pathetic.

Someone comes on and says what he has heard. Thats why this place exists.

What if a poster has a history of suggesting they get "inside mail" that is subsequently proven to be incorrect.

What if a poster is knowingly fabricating stories ?

Personally, I'd like to know the form of posters with inside mail claims, so I can judge the veracity of their comments accordingly.

I'm actually quite surprised you're asking the questions considering your posting frequency. GNF called the Roos appointment early on in the piece but then crashed and burned with Dangerfield to MFC - they're just a couple of examples.

You asked the same about Pennant St Dee when he called the Hogan delay which was due to (but not disclosed by PSD) his cancer diagnosis.

If you'd like to know posters form before judging the veracity of their claims, I'd suggest you start by taking more notice of what other people contribute so people don't have to waste their time with reminding you.

Much more likely to return the week after QB vs the Dogs at Etihad.   And Gawn the week after that vs Eagles.

Hogan returns after the death of his father and what is presumed the removal of a [censored] . . .vs. Collingwood. What are the chances a numpty Pies' supporter will cause another media blow-up by saying something highly offensive?  Pretty darn high is my guess.

More likely to be Eddie McGuire.

I have heard quite recently from another Dees die-hard that we were very close to getting Danger, and not all that far off a done deal.

I`m of the opinion that GNF doesnt make things up, and plenty of trades have fallen through over the years that seemed mere formalities, let alone ones that were not even considered by the media.

His riddles though........sheeshk, I have NFI

...and potentially Faz returning after telling the footy world he is dealing with depression. I sure hope our players (or fans for that matter) do not go near it!

Yes Skuit ,

I would think the death of a family member is off limits.

It might be too soon to joke about the other bit as well.

I doubt he will play anyway .

From his interviews I think he can handle a sledge pretty well.

Out 0f 50000 Collingwood nuffies

you can bet they will make some below average attempts at humour .

Sorry HB, but if anyone believed that Danger was going to any other club than Geelong, they need their head read.

Every year, the club would have a wishlist of potential recruits. I wouldn't be surprised if some board member or coterie member gets wind of the list, and tries to bignote themselves by passing on the info as being definitive. GNF may be getting that info 2nd, 3rd or 4th hand.

I have been told Hogan is playing QB.

Also Gawn desperate to play. Has put his hand up, but club want to hold him back until R13.

I think it's time to dump your source.

I saw a training film of Hoges tonight. He was running 2 steps left and right and looked a little tentative.Call it wobbly. !

He's a few weeks away . God love our man in 18.

Not what we want to hear: "I think he's (Hogan) still a bit away. He's not going to turn up next week and play – he's a minimum of a couple of weeks away," (Peter) Jackson said". http://www.afl.com.au/news/2017-06-12/hogan-at-least-two-weeks-away-after-surgery

Rnd 15 (Swans), Rnd 16 (Carlton), Rnd 17 (Crows)?  One step at a time, I guess.  Get back to full training and see how he goes.  Undoubtedly, his well being comes first and foremost.

As long as he is fully ready for finals  as any team who makes the 8 can take it out this year; the comp is so close.

But like everyone else, I just can't wait till his next game.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
