Yep, tried that two years ago. With the crush, three small children (8-10 yrs old) get quite claustrophobic in the crush.

PM me bloke,  with the kids I have 2 car parks undercover just off Vic Parade, means a walk through East Melbourne

Offer is there

Will be intriguing to see how we set up at opening bounce. Might say more than meets the eye as to how we'll go about dismantling the toiges ;)

Im tipping Richmond to win by 4 goals or so.

Their form is good and confidence high atm. We have had patches, but as our 2-2 scoreline shows, patchy doesnt cut it.

I have a Goon bag if we lose and a bottle of Scotch if we win.

Either way im waking up tomorrow with a headache.

Hibberd hasnt played in over 18 months..   An unproven Tim Smiths returns for just his 2nd game, plus JKH who hasnt played an AFL game since 2015.

This will be a hell of a win if we roll them, make no mistake.

I have no nerves for this game.

If we're good enough, we're good enough, if we're not, we're not.  And if it means I have to wait a little longer to support a quality team so be it.

In footy you usually get what you deserve.

This will be my 3rd game seeing live for the season! Pretty good effort considering I work many weekends and live 2 hours from Melbourne ? Having to use my MCC to get reserved tickets as the players reserve was already full but super keen for a big game in front of a big crowd. Hogan, Wattsy and Bull to kick 10+ between them!

Agree, all though I am nervous every game.

Every game is important although I don't think any game is necessarily season defining unless the result is way outside the normal range.

If we lose by a massive margin or win by a massive margin, then that can be season defining. Or if we just get over the line or choke at the end of the season when a place in the 8 is at stake.

Fair point, fwiw I actually think the reverse is true- if we fade out of quarters and lose by a narrow margin we have enough data to draw some conclusions for the rest of the season whereas a blowout could be written off as an anomaly

Anyone know a good place to park?

Last year we were stuck in the carpark for a good 45mins - 1hr trying to get out. I did see the club were expecting 75,000 tonight - not sure we'll see that after 60K for the last two years and rain expected tonight, but with three small kids coming along I'm keen to find somewhere local to park without the LONG queue to get out afterwards.

Best suggestion wins a prize

I'll be driving only because I work around the corner from the G.

I suggest trying to find street parking off Swan St. The bastards have turned most of it into a 2 hour zone until 9pm, which is annoying, but if you come early you should be OK to find a 2 hour stop until 5pm

main issues for Tigers IMO is depth:

Short, Lambert, Markov, Menadue, Mcintosh, Elton are unproven

and Key Fwds, aside from Jack, who do you kick to? So they will have to run the ball and pressure us.  They have no other option, so we should be able to exploit that

Melk, Jetta, Vince, hunt better be on their game as their small fwd line could cause issues

Interestingly enough, Crownbet have removed Dusty from all betting markets. You can't bet on him for most disposals or most goals.

Read from that, what you will. Maybe he will come back in if he's not a late out.

Don't mind Smith as an in actually, even with the rain. Plays tall and small so hopefully he will still be effective in the conditions.

With less than 3.5 hours to go most of the first batch is going to miss the G with perhaps the fringe giving a light soak.

Then there's a gap until the next downpour that will probably hit.

Hopefully that translates into them going in with big heads.

I think we'll smoke them in the first half and the second half will be a slog.

I love the Anzac tribute  - it's amazing when they dim the lights and the horse enters the stadium. I'm leaving soon to avoid the long lines and to make sure I'm seated on time. Also going to tomorrow's game but love Anzac Eve the best. Go Dees❤️?

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
