How bad a senior coach do you need to be to continually lose close games when you're in front in the dying minutes? Just flood the [censored] forward line you dolt!

I can't believe we lost to Freo. And we let them score as much as they did. We really need to tighten up and zone off better behind the ball.

Two different ways to approach evaluating a game. I'm a big fan of the 'not picking out a whipping boy' approach.

Kangaroos shocking in close games - learn nothing!  Brad Scott must be looking down the barrel, he surely can't lose this many close games without coming under scrutiny.

4-15 in games under a goal

That is harsh.  THE TEAM got ahead of themselves at half time.

Well they finished on 12 wins so if you take jlt series out of it they have won just 2 games since round 10 last year that's not a great stat

Wow, Sydney (last year's grandfinalists) 0 and 5.  As big a fall from grace this year as Freo were last.

Quick allert AFL HQ, crank up the Swans cola and extend their academy zone into Central Victoria, they won't make the 8 and are clearly on the brink of catestropic collapse.

"Sir Bob". AFL website has an ad for a tribute to "Sir Bob" today.

WTF?????????????????????

Is he the only bloke who's ever missed out on a flag?

Is he the only bloke to play 300 games?

What am I missing?

The [censored] fest over Bob has been seriously cringeworthy.

Was at the Freo vs North game last night, when the game was on the line Mundy Johnson Neale Fyfe and Sandi all stood up. 5 leaders makes a difference in getting mediocre sides over the line and setting standards for the younger players coming through.

Same story, same names stepping up as in last week when we played them. Our leaders were invisible, making mistakes or both.

I'm not writing Sydney off until their bye.

Their next five games are against Carlton, Brisbane, North, St Kilda and Hawthorn. If they're 5-5 at the bye, they're not done with.

The talent is still there so they're a threat from anywhere in the 8

The Saints are a really interesting team, i find it hard to read them, players like Billings and Dunstan don't look to me like they can get much better than they are now

Not big on the Saints but hoping they beat Geelong.

Saints a direct rival to us in the race for the 8, we need them to lose just like we needed Freo to lose last night.

Trying to figure out who we want to win this game. I reckon Geelongs a certainty for the 8 so probably them as we'll be fighting St Kilda for spot.

Gunning for the Eagles today.

Would love to see the Hawks start to challenge and break all our records from the past ten years.

Yes they might give it a real shake over the next few years....186 would be nice.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
