I genuinely cannot recall a game where I have seen such poor foot skills from both teams! This is diabolical.

Either can I. I'm only watching now because of how bad it is.

I can't believe the pies pushed the doggies last week, and the Tigers walloped the blues

Treloar's kicking is going to be an issue for them.  Not just that disgraceful OOTF shot on goal, but the up-and-under field kicking is really poor.  He's repeatedly created pressure out of nothing because his kicks are so slow getting to their target.

It's the reason why he gets so many possessions. He can actually get to the target of his kick as it arrives.

He's great at winning the ball and his hands are good, I just hate that kicking style.

Bloody Hell, compare it to that low hard pass from Pendles.  If Treloar could kick like that he'd be awesome.

Fasolo is a selfish flat track bully, I doubt he would get near a game at a decent team.

Hamish is such a dribbly Commentator

nobody mentions him by name!!

Please.....Dennis please come out of retirement.

Bruce's attempt at humour are nearly as bad as this game.

Absolute tripe football!

All this despite the fact that both teams have sweet F A on their injury lists, especially Richmond....

This is both teams at full strength....

Richmond and Collingwood are a pathetic mess. Skill levels remind me of us a couple of years ago.

Can't think of two teams or coaches i dislike more than these two.

couldn't find it in me to barrack for one over the other.

Its a shite game, kinda glad howey's been playing well.,maybe Dunny will get a run soon.

Dustin Martin is starting to love his 'don't argues' too much. Been pinged twice in the second quarter for over embellishing.

Just said to my Dees supporting better half, that the skills on show by both teams tonight are akin to Melbourne's very worst over the last decade ........... and I don't think that's an exaggeration!

That has to be the worst half of AFL football from 2 teams I can remember.

Cast your mind back to Round 2, 2016: Collingwood vs Richmond.

Who would have thought an opening round win over Carltank would mean nothing.

Richmond are (still) terrible.

Pies should be 10 goals up, just wasted so many shots earlier on.

Dusty is overrated and believing his own hype. Got pinged twice last quarter trying to break every tackle instead of disposing cleanly when he had the chance. Complete opposite to Pendlebury who is so clean with his handballs and runs on to become another option again instead of just bombing it.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
