AFL Round 2 - Non MFC Games (2017)

Featured Replies

It's like a different sport compared to last night.

The Package delivered as did Jong but that Dalhaus in the back where he threw himself foward to milk a free as per the Footscray playbook is annoying.  The Dogs have been taught to milk frees and they do it better than any other AFL team.

Nah.  Geelong and West Coast are still on top.

PD I assume you've had a tough couple of days in FNQ and you've indulged in a bit of Cairns champagne ie some OP Bundy and it is showing.

still hope the dogs win. But yes Boyd really has to do something. It has been mentioned on radio. But I hitnk the lesson is do not knock Cloke in the head. It has seemed to improve his kicking.

"Batteries" (AA) was a loss from the swans in the GF. He plays well tall and small, good skills and run.

Omar (the better one) is younger by a few years.

This pro Bulldogs umpiring is getting very old.

Okay, I'm over the Bulldogs now. They get such a bloody good go. Ridiculous.

How was that for a milk by Boyd.  Udderly ridiculous.

The other thing that shits me is that the umpires aren't clamping down on the Bulldogs throwing. That was the whole point of clamping down on that. Libba is one of the big offenders and continues to get away with it.

A great game being spoiled from very one-sided umpiring. Lots of little pushes asnd throws being missed, and that free against Allir - horrible.

The dogs really do get a great ride from the umps. Throw it, drop it, push people in the back, etc etc, no matter the situation they seem to be on the right side of it.

Geeezzzz. BT is so annoying.  As bad as Derrrwayyn

He said before that Boyd is growing into a superstar.

As they say in the classics ... "You make your own luck"

The Bulldogs are total-team ... our players can learn a lot from how they go about it AF.   Nothing like learning from the best.

  • NON-MFC: Round 7

Round 7 is here, with the ANZAC commemoration games taking centre stage. Who are you tipping this week, and which results would be most favourable for the Demons?

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

  • REPORT: Brisbane

Before Sunday, the last time the Brisbane Lions had walked onto the turf of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, they celebrated the pinnacle of the sport - an AFL premiership secured in emphatic fashion for the second consecutive year.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
