Pies are dogs !!

Dogs flying

Posted

The Pies are playing like a big budget movie that goes nowhere at the minute - getting plenty of the footy but it's been for nothing so far.  Dogs far cleaner and more clinical.

Never thought I'd be delighted in seeing Cloke kick a goal.

Those Collingwood supporters were quick to shut up!

Gee imagine how nervous Cloke would have been feeling when going for that shot on goal with the pies fans booing him. He would have been thinking please do not miss. Glad he nailed it. The pies fans would have been thinking why couldn't you do that fore us. Loved how they went to Joffa and he just sat down.

Come on dogs keep it going.

For a small bloke Lachie Hunter is so instinctive and Liba is a magnificent tackler

Tom billionaire Boyd. 1 handball.

It is amazing how Watts has copped so much and this guy nothing.

Played one good game, in the biggest game of course.

Dogs are so much more likable premiers to admire than hawthorn.... class just getting the job done now

Pies now run out of puff , the intensity only lasted 1 1/2 quarters , that's what separates ordinary sides from the top 4

You would have to be mad not to play a sweeping small/mid size stay at home back against the Dogs ... the easy run ins they have had on the rebound and the lack of a good forward line on Collingwood's part are the difference.

Let's hope our older players can give us the service that Pendlebury gives Collingwood.

When you stand up in the big game and virtually get your team across the line for a premiership win which he did no one will bag you.

Jeez Darcy Moore has really strugged tonight without that big bodied forward next to him. Just the 5 disposal so far.

Good ol...... lol

Pies worked hard but their skills...

That's the big difference between the good sides and the also-rans - the likes of the Dogs and Hawks and Swans and GW$ on the whole simply don't waste it.

I really want to see us moving the ball with skill tomorrow, because I think like the Dogs and Pies we'll be up for the contest.

Its always a great way to start a football season with a pie loss.   Go Bullies, well for most of the year    Go Dees  Tomorrow will tell its own storey  wish I knew whether we won almost as much as the tattslotto numbers..  Hope the pub has it on and the beer is cold.    26 points to the saints is my guess..

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
