Tigers suggesting Vickery has done a deal with another club. He will finish his season in the VFL.

My guess is that he's done a deal with Whorethorn.

3 knees to rucks in half an hour-he may yet get a call  from someone .

No i have not said i want him but they discussed this on SEN about not having to throw Watts into the ruck and also giving Hogan up forward a chop out along with Gawn.

Pretty sure he is a free agent?

I was once a Vickery supporter.  But he has not developed as he should have, & appears lazy to me, just going through the motions.

He's a disappointment to his talent.

Can't remember who, but there was a poster adamant we should take him at pick 1 in the Watts\Natainui draft.

We have copped it over Wattsy, but imagine the grief if we had taken Vickery.

Oh, and definitely a no for me.

Agree About Keilty

Any club taking Vickery would have to have a clause making him shave his head

Worst Hair Cut in AFL history

preferably have a clause making him play in a burqa

Vickery will get a new home, i personally don't rate him but i reckon enough teams need tall forwards/ruck players that someone will be all over it.

IMO

1 He is a better kick than Hogan

2 He is a better Relief ruck than Watts

3 He ( CAN) be a matchwinner ( Kicks GOALS)  which makes him better than Dawes.

Package him up an offer Richmond Grimes and Possibly Trengove and see what happens!

Can't trade Grimes unless Richmond and Grimes agree to do it that way, which they won't

Sounds like Vickery will be a Hawk either way

Grimes should be in the #27 package for Hibberd and their 3rd or 4th round. My opinion, not a club rumor. I've heard a few bomber fans express interest in him.

Apparently Roosy prefers smart players. Tyrone is anything but by all reports.

You are aware that Roos finishes up in a week and won't be our coach next year? Just checking...

The pickiness of people in this forum is a joke. This is the exact player we need and you've got Hawthorn head hunting him with a long term deal because they know that it's not about umming and ahhhing about will he or won't he be worthwhile. If he's shown glimpses of his best then you BACK your own system to improve him. You either believe you're a better club than Richmond or you don't.

Probably the difference between us and other clubs, they go after what they need and back themselves.

TY VICKERY has been offered a long-term deal to join Hawthorn. The Hawks are keen to secure the wantaway Richmond ruck-forward and have laid out an attractive package to tempt Vickery to Waverley.

Geelong has also expressed an interest in Vickery, aware it may need tall reinforcements with Nathan Vardy set to explore greater opportunity and Mitch Clark struggling for fitness and form.

I'm happy with this.

Hopefully where wecome in is where Nathan Vardy is exploring his options. I'll back us in to get the best out of him.

Not sure that there is a best of Ty Vickery?

You do realise that this forum is not official MFC policy and that we have no idea what the club is doing behind the scenes ?

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
