Viney would eat Martin and spit out the bones.

Not sure about that. He might be poisoned or slammed for taking illegal substances at his next urine  test.

Going early.

We're a cert.

We always match up well on them and we're even better this year.

Essendon gave us the fright we needed. I don't think we'll ever play complacently when we should win again.

I think this game is more about the tigers then us.

We've seen over the first 4 rounds when teams press up on us in numbers (v essendon, gws and even v pies) turnovers will kill us due to lack of composure and experiemce.

If the tigs go head to head v us - as per the 1st qtr v pies and north game, I'll be bloody confident our boys can beat them.

Hence why i say it's more about the tigers. If they csn take it up to us its going to be tough. Mind u if we dont turn up that could be an issue too.

I wouldnt be too confident yet dees... Some key ins for the tigs and if they take the game to us.... i am not going to be as confident.

Where do they rank for contested possessions? I know their ball movement aint flash at the moment but Deludio will help fix that.

This weeks game is all about which demons appear the team that looses games. or the team that wins games. We have the chance to go way beyond two in a row with the saints and the gold coast before we play the dogs. All are winnable if the good demons turn up to play.

We lost to essendon.......we shouldn't be taking anyone lightly.

Until we win 2 in a row I'm sceptical. That being said, this game is very much up for grabs.

Lids won't play, they'll be concerned about the ruck battle, underdone Maric and Vickery will hand us a significant advantage.

How many years is it now that Vickery has been underdone for?

Beating the Pies was enjoyable, but for me Richmond is the scalp I want. Their supporters continue to think they're part of something special. I want us to smash them and help them understand that they're part of nothing.

Round 23, 2015 and Round 1, 2016 - both against GWS.

Doesn't count IMO.

Rounds 13 and 14 2011 is the real answer (funnily enough, the second of those two wins was against non other than Richmond).

Well-balanced Tigers supporter.....there is an oxymoron for you!

I like the philosophy that Roos and players have spoken about several times recently, that it doesn't matter who we're playing, we now believe we that our best is good enough against most, so we're just focusing on producing our best.

Wasn't Astbury injured against WCE?

Yeah he was, my bad. Injured his ankle may play again on Sunday. Was listening to 3AW / SEN whilst driving home and that was mentioned at some point.

During the Essendrug game that I watched on Fox with My daughter and grand daughter I was complaining bitterly and my Grand daughter said we are disgusting Pa.

From that moment on my day brightened substantially.

To give you some idea of what Tigers posters are saying about the Dees on Yellow and Black, I give you this gem:

"Have Dusty rucking against Gawn - the latter will be too [censored]-scared to contest"

This is only one of a number of equally stupid comments. Let's hope the team is just as delusional

Haha, this sums up that idea.

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
