Good injury news for a change

Is Stevens a reliable source?

Was told recently by a club employee / acquaintance not to expect either Trengove or Petracca at AFL level until round 5-7 at the earliest as we wanted them to be bullet-proof before playing, but that could just be an attempt to manage expectations & lessen the hype.

Anything on Dunn and vandenBerg?

Stevens got the op news here:  http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-03-13/luxury-of-riches-at-dees?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=RSS+feed%3A+AFL+Latest+News

On Dunn and vdB it says:  'Dunn (groin) and vandenBerg (ankle) missed the win against St Kilda after minor injuries against the Western Bulldogs last week and may play in the practice match.

The Casey season doesn't start till April 9 so does anyone know what practice/VFL games they are talking about and where they are?

Club employee!?? ah with a club  foot??

5-7 WEEKS??

for Trengove this would be a disaster! For Demonland followers re Petracca this might push a few " Over the Edge"

Into the Abyss!

Trengove's missed 2 years and more time before that. I wouldn't mind at all if we don't see him for 7 weeks or even 17 weeks if that's what it takes. Presuming he is good enough to get in the team.

I'd be a little annoyed if Petracca gets held back that long but who knows how long he'll take. It's not easy getting a kick in the Casey forward line.

lol this guy...

A disaster... A blokes career could've been over, missed 2 years, yeah I'm sure he'd consider getting his body and fitness right for 6 weeks a "disaster."

Fair dinkum there's some [censored] written.

Trengove will be given all the time he needs, and imo needs to show good form before he'd be pickied anyways, not a certain starter

I think Petracca will be playing a bit sooner than him depending on form

'Mach' as you know there is no such thing as bullet proof where footy is concerned. Once they play their first games back then it's a matter of form.

I think you are on the money with the manage expectations bit...

I wonder if all this good news is because we've actually exhausted the Universe's supply of bad luck over the past nine years.

As if short matters for a journalist!

Almost all journalists are accident chasing, fiction writing, lowlifes that occasionally stumble across and report a fact or two. Short or tall the Napoleonic tendencies are there for all to see.

I beg to differ. I think the history of moronic, midget journalism is very voluminous...particularly AFL journalism (using "journalism" loosely).

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
