Angus Bradshaw is fast becoming my favourite player, what a pick up!

Little disappointed in that I felt we had a chance to really sink the boots in but didn't

Enjoy the win everyone! Solid win in wet conditions on the big stage!

We've got Fremantle, Sydney and Hawthorn the next 3 weeks so gonna be rough. Let's see how the boys handle a really tough run of matches. I don't expect to win any, but I would like to see us put up a good fight and not lose momentum we're building.

Losing Kent and Jetta isn't great

Might be a few injuries tomorrow night with Freon vs Sydney...

A very good hard edged win against the odds.

Some excellent performances across the board by some very inexperienced players. I loved Brayshaw's game and I love the way Hogan plays his footy. He tells others what he wants, leads by example and kicks straight.

We still showed that we can win without them.

Did anyone see the Jetta concussion??

Roos just said he probably won't play next week so it must have been a decent one.

What I really loved was the aggression, Dom Tyson spraying VandenBerg when he gave away a silly free when he was straight in front! 2-2 guys! What a bloody change! Wish I lived in Melbourne!

Hogan best start for a key forward?first he has to kick 77 goals in 12 games, that's the best start to a key forward

But he will get better and hopefully have a longer career.

Jackovich plus?

Loose knee from Howe in marking contest.

Bryashaw! Nailed that first rounder!!!

Absolutely nailed it. He has 2 gears, that is why he sticks so many tackles. He slows down, judges pace well, can move in any direction.

Ollie Wines was the last draftee I seen be able to do this, Martin before him, and Sidebottom before him. I think Brayshaw is cleaner than them all, and as aggressive as Wines.

Just bloody fantastic...despite the umps (wtf was it with them tonight?) and some of our old skill errors.

Weekend at Bernie's I just love that guy.

fantastic win, now the guys playing for Casey need to stand up with Jetta and kent likely to be both out, we have space for two good players. hopefully that will do a mitchie and come in and hit the ground running. we may not beat hawthorn but I give us a chance against freo and possibly the swans.

Gratz dees on a great win.

They had 14 more inside 50's but we had more scoring shots. Great efficiency. Hogan and Garlett should take a lot of credit.

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the

MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’
