I posted earlier if we make finals we could cause damage. I amuse myself.

The fact that we always give up a goal in the last minute of quarters probably suggests we cannot play out full quarters of football. A team that cannot play out 4 quarters of football is not causing any damage deep in the finals. Not against the good sides.

Is getting fined for staging still a thing? if so Rhys Maitherson will have to sell his house to cover the fines.. the block has ducked 7-8 times clearly already.

fortunately it seems on the most part the umpires know he's a sneaky little [censored] and aren't buying into it

Correct.

As much as the umps are rigged, we are playing like absolutely garbage.

Hibberd, Hogan and Tyson. Three players who are winning their spots. Everyone else is in first great and taking a nice week off.

Just not switched for long enough ATM. Agree Wagners days are numbered

Did we really expect anything different? Lions came to play today, knowing that we are such a gettable team when playing someone below us. They know they can win whilst we just think it will happen. At least I don't have to waste money on finals tickets!

our forward line always works worse with hogan in it. we go so hogan focussed every time. lower your eyea inside 50 ffs!!!!

And any chance of tightening up on beams and zorko!!

and garlett ffs. just get it done

if we are a clean skilled footy side we are 6 goals up. Just to add more frustration we let them waltz through for a goal on the siren. FML big style.

Plus, they can probably hear me getting stuck into him over the boundary every time he does it.

Omg can we stop this [censored]?

Hogan is an A grade player. He is the reason we are still in this game.

Our team is 100% better off with him in it. Our players just need to stop being so dumb and lower their eyes going inside 50. It's not rocket surgery!

After we won the free kick for holding the ball on Hipwood, whoever took the kick (possibly Melksham) didn't bother to get back behind the Mark far enough so his kick only went about 35 metres as he had to kick over the man on the mark.

There doesn't  look much between  these sides at ground level. We simply aren't a finals side. Getting slaughtered in contests in the air. Need to fix our tall defender situation  in the summer.

Hibberd is a freak. I love him so much.

I reckon vince will get offered a week for the second collision with Clay Beams.

He elected to bump and was looking straight at Beams.

Bernie has to be one of the dumber players I've seen at his age. He never directs his aggression at the ball. He goes the man nearly every time and it's becoming seriously tiresome.

Agreed. How he got a game ahead of Salem I will never know. He is an ordinary player.

Hunt is very sore. Some sort of lower back issue. Looked unhappy on the boundary line.

I mean when max had the ball smashed out of his hand it was exactly what Hogan did... wasn't 50 though. would have been if it were a lions player.

I think it's time to send a please explain off. there were multiple examples of them getting frees and the same thing happens to us and it's play on.

Hogan and Garlett have been held so much the opposition might as well be stitched to them.

Can't buy a free and 50s only going one way. Just ridiculous.

Half their fifties ...so tiggy touch soft ffs.

That said half our lot playing like little leaguers.

Be nice to stick a few more tackles. Be good to just kick the ball occasionally...and to someone

Wont get far in sep playing this crap

Brisbane good, play(ing) much better than their ladder position. Making us work. We can go up a gear, but will we? Still plenty not getting into the game - and to state the obvious, we really miss Viney.

Pedersen another decent game, though should have nailed at least one of those goals.

We would be smashed today without hogan. How about looking at garlett who continually wastes it. Or harmes who has done nothing. Hannan quiet again in half of footy.

Poor forward structure. Everyone leading back at goal with no one leading to the ball carrier. We've been lucky a few times where they've been out and its been max one out with someone small or jetta one out with hipwood

Hogan didn't actually touch the ball though, he tried and missed. Hogans was for less clear than Gawns andt Gawns wasn't paid. How about Pedo and Garlett both clearly held with out it and not paid. Ridiculous.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

    TRAINING: Thursday 9th January 2025

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
