The club seems to have abandoned the #myheartbeatstrue hashtag in favour of the new #raisehell slogan on its social media accounts.

Whaddya reckon?

Obviously it's fiercer, but it's an interesting strategy to move away from the link with the theme song, and something with which people are already familiar and is ingrained and habitual. 

Given that most people use several hashtags anyway when posting on Insta or Twitter, I guess the obvious question is "porque no los dos" - why not both?

I liked #myheartbeatstrue. Holds a bit more sentimental value I guess. #raisehell is short and sharp though, I like it.

I like it. Fiercer is definitely the right word. #raisehell is evocative and powerful. I read #myheartbeatstrue as linked more to loyalty. That's not to say the club no longer values loyalty, but I think we want to become a fierce and feared football club. Don't all AFL clubs?

It's good to see the club add these little touches to embrace the Demon side of the equation, e,.g "Hell's Bells", #raisehell

It's fine to brand around ties to the city, but we have the most badass moniker in the league. Embrace it I say.

#heartbeatstrue was fitting when we were rubbish and loyalty (or insanity) was the only reason to follow. #raisehell certainly fits with where we are and what we want represent. I love it.
