Dominating inside 50's. Maintain the pressure and we will win.

Given the time in our forward fifty few if any of our forwards have good possession numbers.

May explain why we are not converting time forward into scores.

Looking forward to the second half...........one always lives in hope as a Dee's supporter

Every time I wake up on the other side of the world on game day I have no idea what to expect. I didn't expect us to be in front by 2pts at half time and sounding like we should probably be further in front. C'mon Dee's keep it going!

Came in to this game with no expectations, so was as cool as a cucumber.

Now I'm a nervous wreck. Keep the intensity up, we can and will win. Come on boys!

What do people see in Omac? Honest question. What is he good at?

Absolute liability of the highest order, I would love to know what the selectors see in this bloke! He is not and never will be up to it. Oh and his Brother wio wants plenty to stay just cost a goal as well. Get them both out! Seriously Flawed!

We are killing them in general play and have twice as many inside 50's.  Will be shattered if we lose this.

Prepare to shat yourself.

If we play in the second half as we have in the first, we'll win by 7-8 goals. We simply can't take the foot off the peddle at all.

Can't believe Billy Stretch was dropped last week. Just so composed with the ball in hand.

Omac is going to be one of the great backline players. But we could get rid of him, like you wanted Jetta Watts and a heap more gone. Give the kid time.

Can we keep it up?  It's 50/50 for me.  If we can kick a few early ones then the confidence might skyrocket.

I think we can keep it up, but their forward line has too much firepower, too much power, and too much experience. On days like today we miss Frawley!

Still, great to see them having a dig.

I believe he was rested not dropped

Our 3rd quarters this year have been appalling. Hope they get a rocket at 3/4 time.

Whoever it was here that said Stretch is extremely clean, excellent call

His turning circle is bloody slow though. I like him though. Gonna be a ripper, I reckon.

Keep us the intensity, no more of the dreaded 3rd quarters.

He can have time in the 2's. He is a 1 on 1 liability full stop.

What is wrong with you seriously, another pre season into Oscar, who at the moment is about 10kg short of what they want him to eventually play at, and he will have no qualms facing any of forwards coz he has already played against them and have the experience

I fear you might be right bing - those 5 minutes where Kennedy and Lycett took a few marks wasn't pretty to watch.  To the boys credit they didn't let it happen again, but there is still two quarters of footy left to be played.  If our work rate stays as it is then we will win.

Well if we continue to get the ball inside 50 we will eventually start to score. The eagles defence can't keep on defending. The thing is we haven't capitalised on our dominance

On days like today we should be playing Dunn over Frost or Oscar. Earned the recall in his last VFL appearance

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
