Jack Viney for me.  We already know how good he can be, but I believe this is the year he makes the rest of the competition stand up and take notice.

If it was Watts as a tall forward, with 25 plus goals for the year, plus third man up in the ball ups I would be wrapped and I suspect we as a team might be cruising given all the other talent that is around.

Watts should be aiming for at least 2 goals a game.

Salem is the obvious choice coming into his 3rd year, talent to burn and getting a clear run at a full pre-season. Tyson fit will get back to what he showed 2014 so hard to call it break out. I reckon Vanders is the one whose weekly output will go to another level with a full preseason allowing him to spend more midfield minutes.  Stretch and White the others to watch.

Lumumba.

With Goodwin having more of an influence, meaning players will be running forward more, I can see him having more impact and getting caught less as he'll actually have players going with him rather than standing around watching.

Actually I find this interesting. I said last year ( other than the ankles as we later found out ) that much of Harry's lackluster year was more about the others than him. That the team had to catch up with a style the big O was used to and enjoyed. 

I too think Goody's influence will be to hit the "go" button......and you'd better go....and go to where you're meant to andhave trained for. Once players see it 'click' then the real climb begins. 

Ought to be enjoyable to watch :)

We could conceivably have 4/5 big improvers, but the bloke who could have the biggest impact & help others reach their potential in the midfield is Gawn. Jesse Hogan will go to another level too, especially with overall team improvement.

I think 2015 was Jack's breakout year but as you say this year he serves notice to the competition...

    It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    Fremantle hosted the Demons on a sunny 20-degree Saturdayafternoon winning the toss and electing to defend in the first quarter against the 3-goal breeze favouring the Parry Street end. There was method here, as this would give the comeback queens, the Dockers, last use of the breeze. The Melbourne Coach had promised an improved performance, and we did start better than previous weeks, winning the ball out of the middle, using the breeze advantage and connecting to the forwards.

    Calling all fit players. Expect every available Melbourne player to board the Virgin cross-continent flight to Perth for this Round 4 clash on Saturday afternoon at Fremantle Oval.     With Casey Fields basking in sunshine, an enthusiastic throng of young Demons fans formed a guard of honour for the evergreen and much admired 75-gamer Paxy Paxman. As the home team ran out to play, Paxy’s banner promised that the Demons would bounce back from last week’s loss to Brisbane and reign supreme.   Disappointingly, the Kangaroos dominated the match to win by 50 points, but our Paxy certainly did her bit.  She was clearly our best player, sweeping well in defence.
