Mitch Robinson - Delisted FA?

Ok, you will all have your own opinions about this guy yeah he has had his problems off the field and there is a risk, but this guy can play! He is exactly what we need in the centre tough as nails in the centre throws his weight around has a bit of dash and lays some bone crunching tackles too! He would add some much needed depth in the centre to help out Cross Vince and some of the younger onballers. Im sure if Roos thinks he can sort him out im In!!

Remember cant put to much expectation onto a Brayshaw so early, hasn't worked for us in the past!!!

Do you honestly think they will bring him in straight after we just recruited Garlett...

Probably not. But gee I liked the way he went about it. Not overly endowed with talent, but makes the most of what he has. interesting contrast to some we have/had on our list who didn't manage to do the same.

I certainly wouldn't mind his type of grunt on our half back line.

We should've got him last year when Picket Fence offered up pick 2 for him.

I still say we start a 'Hall of Shame' thread for posts such as that.

We can add the one where that bloke said Cameron Ling was too ugly to be a senior coach and that other one where it was suggested we try to recruit Tim Tebow to the club.

I think Robinson (like Lamumba in many respects) is underrated as player due to perceptions about his personality.

I would have thought the club looked at Robinson and Gartlett and wisely chose only one of them.

They both need a change of scenery and time away from the people who they formed bad habits alongside.

Hahaha yes the Tebow one, w t f.

Should get Yao Ming in the ruck too. Really cement that China connection we've got going on...

It's honestly bewildering reading comments lambasting someone I would wager none of you have met in your lives.

And for what, exactly?

A comment he never actually made himself ("bruise free"). What a DH!

Defending himself when physically attacked at a music festival. What a DH!

His greatest crime was not being upfront with the club regarding his involvement with Garlett, who reportedly was also attacked. But of course let's assume the worst cause it's Robinson. Did I mention..what a DH!!!

I'm sure none of you have ever touched a drop of alcohol or gone out and found yourself In a situation you'd rather not be in. A bunch of pristine angels.

His on field value is what matters, and that is debatable. He didn't have the most inspiring season but Malthouse was clearly never a huge fan.

Any off field stuff is a bunch of overblown tripe. This idea that he could corrupt the club is absolutely ridiculous.

    MEANWHILE by Whispering Jack

… meanwhile, at about the same time that Narrm was putting its feet on the accelerator to obliterate the long-suffering Euro-Yroke combination, I heard someone mention in passing that Kuwarna was leading Waalitj Marawar by a whopping 46 to 1 halfway through the second quarter of their game over in Adelaide. “What is football coming to?” I asked myself.  In front of my eyes, the Demons were smashing it through the midfield, forcing turnovers and getting the footy to their forwards who w

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form
