I remember being at that game, his third quarter was exceptional (capped off with tat mark and goal) and he was one of the main reasons we were able to break even in that quarter

When you take as many days off as he does for training are you surprised?

Geez he looks in ripping shape in that photo. Somebody put a man where a boy used to be.

The two things I'm most excited about for 2016 are CP5 and Jack Trengove returning to the MCG.

You talking about the old guy in the back ground.

If you reread your own paragraph in your post I responded to, I think you'll find most people would think that when you start by saying you don't rate him as highly as others and finish by referring to him as a solid accumulator, that you do not rate solid accumulators.  I'm glad you've clarified your view of solid accumulators.

Others rate him much more highly than me.  I rate him as a solid accumulator.  That does not mean I do not rate solid accumulators.

I hope you're right about Trengove.

Gosh if ever I get to training I'm going to go as a young bloke incognito.... forgot his last name.

No matter how you perceive him I for one miss his training reports and contact with the players.

His hounding off this site by the selfish minority is a loss to all of us.  We all have difference interests and focuses when it comes to training reports and Saty provide a unique perspective.  It personally doesn't interest me what drills the players are doing but I don't berate posters for posting that information.

He was a pain in the bum at times but there isn't a poster on this site who isn't now and again.  A sad loss.  I hope I can catch up with him on Friday and find out what's happening.  I'll be sure to keep it to myself to avoid upsetting some.

The training threads are much more enjoyable, and far easier to read now. No endless bickering while one bloke defends his pets beyond all reason.

Its great that he doesn't post any more. He hounded himself off the site.

He looks like bloody superman. A terrific player who reads the play so well. I'm positive they will play him as an inside mid, which is where he has always been best suited.

If he comes back it will be like getting a free top ten draft pick (to offset the ones we have lost)

The reason why Saty's reports were better than the one's this pre-season was that Saty actually spoke to players and was then able to relay the inside word to us.

For example I remember him providing useful updates on Vince and Howe's hamstring injuries after talking to them.

Hands down the best contributor to the forum I've seen, and that isn't to downplay the Tassie guys (Among others) training reports - they are ALL brilliant and appreciated.

I appreciate training reports - and 666 pics - more than anything else. The rest is dribble, just filling in time to kick off.

But Saty is still the mayor of Demonland IMO.

I don't understand this. We all knew of his "unique" style. Why not just take note of the stuff that was of interest ( and yes there was some interesting titbits in his reports regarding some training and some debuts that were imminent) and ignore the stuff you didn't like.

What I found unfair is that many did not debate with him on contentious football/player issues - I thought he was demeaned mainly because of his "fanboy" style. Whilst I was not a big the fluffy stuff I just ignored those parts and took interest in things I found relevant.

No...a bloke who went regularly to training and took the time to post was hounded off this site.

Lol.

He was the main offender at berating and belittling other posters opinions.

Training threads have never been better since he brought the disdain upon himself and stopped contributing.

He's got a Twitter account for those who miss his inane commentary of the players.

Satyr was inside the club walls in 2013 but refused to see what was unfolding around him. If anybody mentioned anything along those lines he went into attack mode.

A perfect stooge for our previous board and CEO. It wouldn't suprise me at all if they slipped him the "odd tip" to divert attention.

His training reports inflated his ego ( How many players did i speak to today...)

his actual observations of individual players skills and improvements were quite often just plain wrong.

Other posters have given brilliant training reports that are just that...

as Faulty said...he kicked himself off this board...

right up there with Dr. Who...

Even when he's not here, his very name is still causing dissension.

His defending the indefensible was just unbearable, but he was always at training and was often the only provider of training reports.

Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
