Seems players being pushed in the pre season is biting us a bit but it's a fine line you play with trying to obtain elite fitness tough luck flash.

It's not that unlucky with our fitness regime being ramped up the same has happened to the bombers. In the end it is all for the greater good I suppose.

And this is the perfect season for it to happen. From here, the number of wins is cosmetic. If they need to be rested, operated on or retrained then now is the perfect time. Finishing bottom three won't be 'tanking' but the result of what happened this year.

I guess it doesn't really matter at this stage of this nightmare season, but WTH is going on?

Some have suggested that it may be "overtraining" but most of the injuries have been out of the blue.

I guess it will all give opportunities four others but what a revolting run of injuries we have had.

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was.
