SPC 3,596 Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Every finals campaign, someone cements themselves in footy folklore. Who will it be in 2023? My guess is Gus for the mighty Dees. He was pivotal in the 21 Grand Final and I recon he is building to something special. Who from the Dees or the other 7 clubs is going to produce a September master class? 4 Quote
praha 11,267 Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Rivers, with Salem to find some touch. JVR to enter folklore with a kick after the siren to seal the win. Preferably from directly in front of Bay M8. 1 6 Quote
Wrecker46 3,130 Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 I have a feeling we will give Rivers a liscense to roam wherever he wants in the finals. 2 Quote
Gorgoroth 13,220 Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Trac. He will tear teams apart this September. And I mean really tear them apart. 7 1 Quote
Engorged Onion 10,226 Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Judd McVee to become immortalised like Shane Ellen. 2 Quote
deeTRACted 406 Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Finals Viney is something else, that being said, I think JVR is going to go bang! 2 Quote
Chook 15,070 Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Trac or Fritsch will go berserk this finals series, and Rivers is now settled in his role and in ripping form. So those three at least. 1 Quote

Lord Travis 10,819 Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Petracca will step up again. He was looking very determined and dominant in the second half against the Swans. He’s a weapon. It’s like a switch flicked and he was like righto the real stuff starts now, similar to Dusty firing up in finals in years past. Might be another Norm Smith coming his way! 9 Quote

Mach5 4,768 Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Rivers will make people stand up and take notice. He has increasingly been slicing through traffic at top speed coming out of D50 and it’ll stand out. Viney for his pure will to win. I think his sublime GF performance gets overlooked, but he was integral. Also McVee to get plaudits for doing a job on some big name players. 3 Quote
