A hypothetical.... Let's just say we continue along the path we are currently on and win the flag or come bloody close. Collingwood decide to trade out players with currency wherever they can for their rebuild. Collingwood are open to trading out Howe. Would you take him back?

I absolutely wouldn’t, the bloke has done nothing but have cracks at the club since he left.  He deserves to finish out his career in the bottom 4 (hopefully with no crowds watching).

Not the way he left, the way he has conducted himself since he left nor on injuries either.

Yep

Good question. No.

Our current glue is a selfless team ethos. That is not Howe's style. Let him stay at Collingwood to languish at the bottom if the ladder, where he can take his hangers before turning it over to the opposition and I don't have to care about it.

On one hand you could argue it is hard to blame him - he escaped the club when it really wasn’t a great place to be.

On the other hand you could argue he is a Judas. I’m with this hand.

No

left for his reasons, like Gerard Healey left when he was needed,

No

No GIF

No DH policy at Melbourne for a while now. He just cost his club $20k for getting De goey to grab his phone for him. So a NO for me.

?

We now are developing into to selfless team.
Where would you play him anyway?

It has always upset me that Howe is playing for Collingwood. It has also always upset me that Collingwood is praised for turning Howe into a backman. I'm glad he missed a flag in 2018. He should still be at Melbourne, but would he fit into our system?

Casey

A no from me.....

He would struggle to get a game anyway....

He was a reason to go to the footy when we weren’t winning to see another mark of the year contender.
He also said some nice words ahead of Chunk’s 300th last week, so I’m not sure he’s a complete dh.
But now we’re winning. He won’t make us a better team, nor does he have the pressure attributes IMO. Absolutely a no from me.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
