Landed on his side and rolled onto his back, such a poor call. The umpires are a disgrace.

That 50 wasn't there. The downfield was an absolute farce. The fact the Oliver doesnt get a 50 when the saints player doesnt give the ball back on the full.

3 goals right there.

Rubbish. All flying for the ball , no-one staying down. They think their better and it will cost them if they keep it up.

All flying for the ball, no one staying down.

Midfield not working hard both ways.

Gonna be a long day.

That 50 was %100 there. both our players infringed blatantly, you would think they would know that rule by now.

St K 10 i50s 7 scoring shots. Defence working well again.....

Well...Saints have come to play...no surprise. Can they maintain the pressure for 4/4 ? If so...we haveca problem.

Theyre blanketting Tmac.

We're struggling to get at sticks...Gus aside.

Need a much better qtr to get back ahead.

Pretty ordinary effort from the umpires that quarter. I’ve only just calmed down from the umpiring last week. It really is turning me off the game.

We’ve clearly got more class. Hopefully the saints coming back into that quarter is a wake up call for effort.

Losing Lever is going to cost us ... well, whatever we might have achieved. Backline inexperienced, both individually and together.

The first 50 was there but the free kick in the first place wasn’t. The second 50 was a disgrace.

But it’s the same old problems. 18 inside 50s for 4.2. They drop numbers back and just wait for us to turn it over. Hogan, Weed and TMac can’t get any separation on their man. And laziness through the middle, especially when Gawn went off.

Why, why do we keep making those terrible transition hanballs like harmes just did.

Costs us a goal.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
