Demonland rule no. 1 Always believe the worst case scenario MFCSS. Probably out for 10 weeks

The facts are, he cut short his training yesterday.  He had treatment, and then went off for scans today.

Confirmed on the news tonight.

If it was enough for all that, and with his recent history. its worth while missing one match, to rest it. especially with the short turnaround between the Crows  game and the Bullies game.

I would prefer he played the bullies game, of these two games....  miss this week, if required.

The 4 points don't care which team you win them against, and nor does the ladder,,,, they are all the same value.

And following the Bullies game, we have a long break leading into Queens-Birthday match.

The other thing is, we don't show our full hand during the match against the Crows.   For all to see.

You know Melbourne's becoming a ruthless football side when we play these kinds of mind games with the opposition in selection. Tom will play.

Tmac will probably play if he is travelling with the team let's wait and see. However if he doesn't play we can cover him with a Pedersen. The thing is that the crows have atleast 5 regulars out and the one that can hurts us is out, and that is McGovern. Therefore l feel confident enough to say that we can make it 5 in a row. You can only beat whats in front of you. So let go Dees. Give Pyke a sleepless week.

Update: Minor inflammation in his toe, probably more from the pressure of the boots rather than anything else

I get minor and major inflammation around my toes often,...

It called friggen GOUT.

Tom will be fine, rest assured!

Impeccable sources told me T Mac was absolutely focused on the correct rehab this year. He would call relevant staff every day in some cases to get their sign off for something he may have been thinking of doing, foot conditions status etc.

Thus his comeback has been first rate (as opposed to how jack sought to come back early)

This is another good example IMO of TMac simply being professional, sensing a concern and having it checked out.

I believe that D17.

And I'm a firm believer in players resting thru the season, when its required. Maintaining them fit and healthy, for the times they're really needed.

I hope he rests this week.

We have to have faith in the players who only last year did the right thing for us. We didn't last year and it hurt us.

Its a long season and we will have opportunity later on to show the Crows our full armada.

Did he call before he cuts loose on the boutique dance floor

If he's ok, he's ok, if he's not i fully understand especially after what happened with Jack Viney, Just make the right call, go through all the right channels, get it all ticked off or not then all gd.

Still another 13 games to go we don't need to rush anyone anymore were better than that now.

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
