I CGAF who wins or who loses during the finals. I hope each team gets smashed into oblivion injury wise.  My only joy would be seeing the likes of Riewoldt, Martin, Toby Greene, Lewis Jetta, Rance, Franklin and especially that sea hunt Scully stretchered from the ground in agony.

After the bombers there one of my most hated teams. But the AFL wants them to make the GF,  just wait.

I am afraid that I have got Carlton, Collingwood, the Bombers and Hawks all ahead of the Tigers. Rather see the Cats win tomorrow evening even if it means watching the Tigers two weeks running.

Would love to see them go out in straight sets.  The only decent thing to come out of that club was one of Melbourne's best music venues in the late 70's early 80's, the Tiger Lounge at the Royal Oak Hotel in Richmond... it was managed by former captain Francis Bourke who was a really nice guy.

Remember going to a 21st there and seeing my first stripper!

Now that's real pathological hate.

It isn't the Richmond football club that is the problem but it's supporters. On mass they are nothing more than a collective noun of morons.

I'm finding it very hard to get interested in the finals after our capitulation, but the only things that would bring a small smile to my face would be...

1) Richmond go out in straight sets

2) Essendon get absolutely thumped by Sydney

And in addition  to 1, Sydney massacre Richmond in the Semi. 100 points would be nice but I'd settle for 50..

Richmond have always been my most hated side. I will be shattered if they manage to pinch the flag; especially in this even year.

Wash your mouth out Tone, then see BBO for your 100 jolly good floggings

Like the Dogs last year, i'll barrack for them until i see that the umpires are manipulating the result at which point ill switch barracking sides eg the mark infringement non-50 at the end of the dogs vs gws. How could we deny the fairytale by paying a technically correct free we've payed all year! Followed by the Sydney gf.

What a delightful malaise for our yellow maggot flogs!!!!

They will have no idea of who to give the most frees to, all being their favourite idols on the ground and off.

Will i (umpire) favor Martin, the "gadget man" or "Reichwoldt", my dearest friend, or so he tells me?

What about Selwood, Dangerfield and Hawkins. The love knows no bounds.

One walks around as if he is on the Set. The other walks around as if he's got more than "one set" and the third, is king of the jumper punch set.......

Agreed, Richmond and all associated with them are [censored].

Like every other club did and will do in the future.

Sure, but we told everyone about it.

Should have kept the trap shut

I'd prefer GWS going out in straight sets than Richmond. That said there would be something enjoyable about Richmond going out in whimper.

I used to enjoy going to the Tiger Lounge to watch Paul Madigan and the Humans winding up the "radical feminists".  Joined by Ross Hannaford, Wayne Duncan and Fred Strauks, Madigan certainly had a way with words, set to the best possible musical accompaniment.

After reading Big Footy, all I can say is years of losing finals and finishing 9th has left them terribly bitter and twisted, I'd hate to see their response if they go out in straight sets.

I think whoever wins tonight will be in the GF. Hence Go Cats!

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
