10 point down at half time?  We'll take it.

If you take away those first 10 minutes of the second term where they kicked 5 on the trot, we've been the better side.  Our attack and pressure on the ball has been good and we've forced them in to turnovers which has frustrated them.  We aren't giving them a run at the footy and they don't really know what to do about it.

We need to come out far more switched on than we did in the second term, though.  Lots to like about the first half.

10 points at the half... not a bad result, least we're showing fight.

Hannan zero disposals in a half of footy, while ANB whose been averaging around 26 twiddles his thumbs

Been a big Tyson supporter but far out his disposal is horrible. Whats happened to him??

Vince, Watts, Garlett, Kent

All have been poor and need to lift, and if they do we will win.  If they dont they should all be dropped for letting us down so badly.

Hes has 2 according to the stats (but point taken).

Fair effort. Buckled, but hit back.

Umps are C units.

I can forgive our defenders for the odd mistake tonight, they're against the best forwards in the league.

Need to lower our eyes and hit the smalls like Collingwood did earlier today.

Tyson is dumb and has poor skills and I don't like him at all.

going well for a team with no forward line

Hardly seen Bernie - is he in the bar?

Playing a tagging role on Sloan who's had 7 disposals to half time. Vince has only had the 3, I'd like to see him try to damage Sloan if he see the opportunity.

Yeah, we are behind, and i HATE when people look for the positives in a loss, so I will get in now.

Bloody hell Hibberd was a great pickup.

I think he's been pretty effective shutting Sloane down

Second quarter is where Adelaide run away with games apparently. They were about to run away with it too but we wrestled it back - this is exactly what I wanted today.

We are in it. Again.

As dazzle said earlier, I've been a fan as well, but the bloke is having an absolute mare today.  His kicking is all over the shop and he looks so slow.  I'm not one to write players off quickly, but this has been happening all season.  It doesn't bode well for him.

This is a real test for Goodwin.  We need to play smarter in our defence and rejig the fwd entries.  I hope he leaves Pedo up forward with Weid

GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
