Every game this year we have only played 3 quarters. And conceded 5+ goals in the poor quarter. Coaching or players?

Cant Belive it thats 2 weeks in a row we throw away a lead!

Understand No Ruck but no leadership at all

How much cam 50+ years of following this underachieving footy club?

every era  we say don't  blame them for past failings yet we supporters get the same crappy results, rollover when its all too hard

This, 2 men down or not, is simply inexcusable.

Maybe Goody needs to look at how his structures are going?

Questions need to be raised with the FD. It isn't just one guy who selects the team.

In saying that our leadership this year is simply the worst going around.

Jones, Viney McDonald Vince...

Lost for words.

Our reliance on Gawn and our very think ruck support has been obvious for a few years now, yet we have done nothing about bringing in another who is capable of playing the role.

Jones is a soldier

not a General. Never has been.

He is tough, but his kicking has always been suspect.

You've got to be kidding! A ruckman and a tall forward down by half time requiring Watts to go to the ruck and you're cursing them?

Some of you guys are deadset flogs.

How many teams win games 2 men down in the modern game? Nothing anyone could have done about that.

The problem wasn't the 2 men down, the problem was the first half where we absolutely smashed them from here to hell and were only a couple of goals up.

Spencer going down was another kick in the balls, but doesnt excuse the lack of poise or leadership or fight.

Another game that we had and let go. Three weeks in a row.

Make all the excuses you want, season is slipping away at a rapid rate now.

Some of our so called  best players are just horrible with their decision making and disposal generally and get caught far to often standing flat footed (Hogan included). It's a very slow and combersum mid field, Clarry and Tracc excluded (when in there) heart. It's not beating up it just is what it is. We are a bunch of hard working potatoes with some pretty good outside talent and an outstanding Clarry on the inside with a bit of Jeffy up forward. Our mid field failed to see out the match again. Good teams find a way to win under adversity, we don't,

I  am concerned.

3rd week in a row we were in a winning position and we can't seal the deal.

For those who have been talking about 'who will be a part of our future', I hope you have paid the price for that type of thinking. We need to win games NOW. Nothing is guaranteed as our present shows us.

Always excuses. How about just gritting the teeth and getting on with the job.

38 points to 2 says it all. We still have no idea how to tough it out.

You still can't tell me the last time a team won a game without 2 players after half time though?

I knew we were [censored] going into the last. Honestly thought the boys were valiant, but so many were clearly out on their feet during the last quarter. I feel as though we are turning things around, just to be cursed by injury....so miserable tonight.

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
