Deflate St Kilda and not be the only team to lose to Essendon.

Did you ever pee in your own jeans and then spill a drink on yourself publicly soon after to deflect unwanted questioning?

Only two times and one of them was a number two.

Thank you for your refreshing honesty.

Did you "fudge" the number two with a curry?

It was last week.

I'm watching a nostalgic birthday party for Play School.

Lorraine Bayley (who was in everything from 1970-1990) was just relaying the time they bought an Elephant in to the room.

She commented on how huge it was. This was a revelation for me.

I'm surprised she even wanted to discuss it.

Well, Wet Toast are now officially out of reach, but North continue to slump.

Next three games are Port Adelaide, Collingwood and St Kilda. Unpredictable, but on current form...

Then their last four games are Bulldogs, Hawks, Swans and Giants. Zero wins there?

It is conceivable we could pass North with just 4 wins out of the 7 remaining games. Saints, Suns, Blues and an 8-pointer v Port would do it!

Bizarre season. Top 7 could all be on 15+ wins, then 8th on 11.

If anyone out of the 8 is going to sneak in, it is going to be at North's expense. West Coast's draw is too easy and the other 6 are too good to slip out.

I am confident it won't happen though. North should win two of its next three (Port, Collingwood and St Kilda) which makes the magic number 12. Port hasn't beaten anyone in the top 8, we are a strong chance to drop the St Kilda game and even if we win it we would have to win two of Port, Hawthorn, Geelong and West Coast. St Kilda isn't good enough whilst Collingwood is very up and down and has a tough draw (they'd need to win three out of Adelaide, NM, West Coast, WB and Hawthorn and also beat Richmond and Gold Coast).

I would love us to get to 11 wins, even without being enough for top 8, as that would involve at least one win over Port (away), Hawthorn, Geelong and West Coast (away).

To overtake North would be as good as to make finals. God I hate North. Does anyone know someone who supports them and isn't an absolute [censored]?!

If only we beat them earlier this year... So close!

If you've met a North supporter then you have found a needle in a haystack is what you've done.

Did anyone watch the Bulldogs v Tigers?

Late in the game Cameron Ling talked about once a player bounced the ball/touched the ball on the ground the period of "prior opportunity" was reset, has this always been a rule? It was in relation to Dustin Martin gaining possession then going for a run, having a bounce then immediately getting tackled. I've never heard of it and thought if someone's gone for a run they've obviously has prior.

I think the 7 team need the umps adviser to give them a session on the rules....

They really have no idea, to the point of embarrassing themselves.

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
