Rusty, I had to read your post three times to realise you weren't talking about soccer. When I played it was in the backline, in those days we dished it out. But I agree our backline are getting punished. 

I think this is the year before we start to play our best team every week, the coaches seem to be experimenting.

You can put a bunch of blokes on the chopping block but Hunt shouldn't be one of them. I thought he was outstanding for the first 3 qtrs vs port.

If Trengove comes back in, the boys might be inspired and perform well, even then, I think it will take a fair bit of luck for the boys to snag the win.

Hawks have got A graders on every line.

For us to be a chance we're going to have to shutdown either Lewis or Mitchell in the guts and hope that Nev can curb Rioli a little.

I'm expecting it to be an extremely physical game as we attempt to match the pressure around the contest with the Hawks. For this reason alone I reckon we'll see more experience brought into this weeks team.

I've had a feeling for a few weeks that we'd win one of the Hawthorn games this year & Saturday will probably be the most likely of the 2 encounters. The Hawks were average against a side we belted by 10 goals the previous week playing average football.. 5 minutes into the last Brisbane were within a kick. The Hawks are there for the taking for the first time since we last beat them in 2006.

If Dawes AND frost come In I wld rathersee Watts play a bigger role there than Frost picket. Frost looks like a potential future forward but more like a dog with fleas down back

All good changes, although Harmes is a very lucky boy.

Clearly we've gone for the bigger bodies this week, with Trengove, Oliver and Vanders giving us extra size around the ball.  Dawes will take some pressure off Hogan and we will see how Frost goes in the defensive 50.  It can't be much worse than his efforts at the other end.

May have seen the last of Dunn and Grimes in an MFC jumper ... Newton and ANB have their work cut out as well if they want to stay on the list, though ANB has youth on his side.

A few others can consider themselves lucky.
