Despite the stats, and what could have been comments, we are not good enough to play finals in 2015. Anyone who thinks so is delusional. However, I seriously believe that for the first time for a long time we are building a competitive football club. For the first time for a long time, we have a stable club with good administration, good coaching staff, and some talented young players who believe in the clubs future. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. How long is the tunnel? No one can know, but the light is visible for the first time for many years. For most of us, its part of our being. It is important and most of us care. Lets maintain the faith and belief. There will continue to be ups and downs, that's life. Don't be envious or jealous of other clubs, just be happy that we are on the way. We should resist negativity and bagging our own players, who really are just a microcosm of us all. In family life, when things are not going well, we support one another. Friendships and mateships count for nothing if we are not around when the going gets tough. We can be disappointed and frustrated along the way as happens with family and friends, but lets support our beloved MFC through thick and thin.

To be honest, I hope we finish 13th.

It will represent massive improvement, out of the bottom 4 comprehensively. Put is ahead of 5 other sides.

We would be threatening to challenge for the lower reaches of the 8 in 2016, making us a genuine potion for players moving clubs.

It would be great for supporters to win say 3 more games to get there.

And we will still be in the bottom 6 when it comes to creating next year's "fixture" which will potentially give us an advantage over the teams that finish immediately above us, making a 2016 final more realistic.

yeah but, i loved the way when we were playing the drug thugs that the commentators were all saying Oh yeah and this is a big game for Essendon....its their last chance to play finals!! we who were on the same amount of wins and close percentage weren't even a mention!!!

12 wins wont get you in with a percentage like ours and certainly not with Cats and Adelaide sharing the points after Walsh's passing. As I have said before just worry about the Saints this week then move on. We have had our most wins since 2010 now lets try and get two in a row and that will be 3 achievements (Winning at Geelong) then we can look somewhere at breaking the Etihad hoodoo

Would be great to win and have a team that believes we can get to a prelim next year.

We beat the tiges,the dogs and cats who are clearly pretenders if they drop games to us this year.

Freo will wane,as will the Swans.

West Coast and Hawthorn look like the flag contenders for the future years.

I dont rate Port or Adelaidde.

GWS will get close.

But 2016 and 2017 will be fairly open.
