In fairness they do have a lot of those small quick types: Fasolo, Blair, Elliott, Oxley

That'd be the 193cm Oxley?

Didn't that happen in 2004 or something? That's a very long time ago now.

He played his 250th for the Crows on the weekend, 289th all up.. fair old record.

Dunno what time in the match it was but i remember seeing him drop a mark, get outrun by 1 of us and just stop and i yelled out who needs Howe?  I then heard a under the breath comment from the toothless filth supporter behind me suggesting that i go and get a sexual encounter.

I was really hoping he would have a game like this against us, was just not sure the footy gods were going to come to the party.

I had a Collingwood fan ask me "What do ya think of Howe?", I smiled and replied "He's soft." the Pie fan sighed and said "yeah, I've heard that too."

I laughed quietly to myself.

It was fitting that his first game against us was similar to the majority of games he played for us.....

He will have the odd game where he has 20 touches and kicks 3 goals but these are too few and far between. Getting a guy like Kennedy who gives his all every game is so much more valuable than the odd highlight from Howe!

Puzzling recruitment by Collingwood.  IMO they don't need his type of medium marking forward when they've already got Elliot and Fasolo, and Swan was going to play forward as well.

Yeah I know.....they needed a Kennedy..

Ouch.

You've got to wonder about their judgement over there.  Kennedy so far has looked fantastic, but was underutilized over there and sold cheaply.

I don't like the practice of knocking ex players, except in the case of one bloke at GWS.

So you'd rather knock the 20 year old who gave his all and left when offered an unprecedented multi-million dollar contract, over a player who put in half hearted efforts and left to fulfill a dream of playing for his beloved Pies under the coach whose signature he had stashed in his wallet.

I'd rather knock the latter, personally.

Think I'm capable of knocking them both.

hmmmm...the same one that missed half a season with a suspect knee injury. The same one that could have left saying "the offer was too good...thanks to Melb for supporting me" but instead left leaving a real stain on us as he did. The same one that was a number 1 draft pick and had the hopes of us all to be the leader we were craving and left us in the way he did. Yes Id rather knock him. Howe left for many reasons but, whether we liked his style or not, he gave plenty of what he offers to us. Clearly we're better off with Kennedy. I have no hate toward howe...but plenty toward scummy.

I'm now even more convinced on Howe being more worthy of my scorn.

In "MELBOURNE" town, Kennedy always was known as the KING !  The status is now renewed.

You think Gra Gra would work as a nickname?

Fair call

i don't hate Jeremy Howe. I just never rated him as a footballer. His marking skills are sublime

but his foot skills are non existent

i can now enjoy watching the last of his career with joy rather than stress and frustration...

I am sure that Howe will have some good games for the Pies over the next few years.  Irrespective I thought he was quite disrespectful to us with his carry on about his boyhood dreams about Collingwood and little mention of his time at the Dees.   Anyway Howe all I have to say is enjoy your photo of Nathan Buckley in your wallet, you lazy easily self satisfied [censored].

Yeah enjoy and look at Nathan's photo and still tell me if you love him as much when he drops you this week hee he:wub:

Yeah I don't hate Howe for leaving. I get why he did it. My biggest fear yesterday was he was going to take a massive hanger. But he had a shocker as did many of his mates. I bet he never would have thought when he crossed to the pies he'd find himself at a club that was near the bottom and questions being asked about the coach. He would have thought he'd got away from that.

Looks like Jeremy's transition to the Collingwood team is now complete.

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
