Nice to see our coaches' counter measures implemented when the Dogs laughed at us in the 3rd qtr. Decisions and skills very average. The Dogs were never in trouble. But we will still accept 2 qtr game efforts like that. So it is what it is............still.

Dumb as horse crap. If they do not like any of the AFL's rules then go and play tiddly winks. Don't nominate for the draft, don't bother with AFL at any level. The club should come down hard on them. I don't agree with lots of rules but would play by the rules for the rewards now offered.

Needs to improve his running, kicking, awareness, though process, accountability, desperation, "connection" (whatever that is), fitness, desire, marking, spoiling, goal kicking, ruckwork, handball, diet, plus several attributes that seem to have held up his further development. Other than that he is obviously in our best 22 atm !

NO, he is another player that has an injury just like Elliot. One day in some future century we might consider drafting an uninjured player or recruit. This same player may even be able to handball and kick with some degree accuracy.

There is a few words the MFC don't know about. Chase, run, pressure, kick, jump, run, think, practice, run, improve, effort, run, skills, tough, run, etc etc. Look them up in your Funk n Wagnell, Goodwin. It was only St Kilda FFS.

Could be a real surprise for us Demon fans. I have watched him since he was about 12 or 13 playing for Sale Magpies footy Club U/16's and he has worked so very hard to progress this far. Is a real chance to play a lot of AFL. At 18 he may still grow a tad but at present is just slightly shorter and lighter than Josh. Like his brother and sister Lara (Melb Vixens Netballer), he is a student of the game he plays. Has talent in spades and is respected by all down here in Sale and Yarram where his family home is. A real hard worker too which might be a bonus this year. The whole family are sports achievers of the highest calibre. Good Luck Kyle.

The Weed has the physical attributes but to be more effective he needs some team mate to scream encouragement (clip him over the ear ha ha ) when he attacks a potential mark. Just after 1/2 time he was too easily pushed out of 50-50 contests a few times. He still looks like a great prospect but needs to win more of these contests. Moore is quite athletic but Weed could be anything. I'm sure it will come with more experience. Our handball out of defence was good but fwd line kicking/passing a bit rusty. Our run looked really good and clearances quite effective. Pace was a pleasant surprise too. I'd give it an 85 % pass mark.

Jones and a number of others had no desire to run hard to maintain, obtain or even pressure opposition players with the ball. The coaches will tell us they tried hard...………………….I have a different view. All week I said we would start slow then kick a few last qtr goals to show we tried a little bit. Guess what...….We were like a peak hour train to Box Hill, Full of passengers enjoying the ride!

Good win, fairly strong win, but very stop n go against a very much weakened opponent. If we have those lapses in intensity against the Swans then we will suffer. Finals a chance especially with our % but another win is a must, infact maybe we will need 2 wins. Time for a few players to play out the full 4 quarters. This is my main concern.

Improved as the game wore on. Goal kicking a worry. Missed a chance to bolster our % back up a bit. Got a handy win but should have won it by 75 + points . Need to win strongly next week now and not sit back and bask in this win. There is still a heartbeat and it may get even stronger for those who desire it badly enough.

Same old, same old. 2 good, 1 fair and 1 pathetic quarter once again. Nothing has changed.

A couple of observations. Oscar McD needs (1) a big dose of awareness and (2) a bit quicker decision re what sort of disposal he is about to give off. Brayshaw needs a bit of work on pace to the contest, he just seemed to look a bit slow tonight. That said, our endeavour was good but shots at (not on) goal were a slight worry. Tackling was excellent. Not much to beat but a win is all we could ask for. Gotta remember it is only a series of short practice games. By the way Ch 7 , get rid of those pathetic callers. They were abysmal.

Fantastic compact forward/onballer. Great pace, excellent kick for goal and from the same nursery as Josh Dunkley. Is a fierce tackler and goes at it very hard. Could surprise quite a few good judges. Has played some senior footy since he was only 15. A favourite son of the Sale F C. Level headed but a hard nut and will go very well. One to watch.

Dees finish 6th. After a bad 2018 season start, we string some strong wins together mid year before qualifying for finals with 1 or 2 games left in the season. AFL announce mid season top up draft. We belt Collingwood and North. Trakka , Hulk, Oliver, Maxie and Viney all finish up in most scribes top 50 at seasons end. Hogan gets 55 goals, Jeffie gets 30+ as well. Older players methodically get rested a few games prior to finals. Eddie Mackgwier continues to whinge a lot. We get duded at MRP 3 or 4 times. Lions get more assistance than other 17 teams would like. Carlton falter again. Richmond struggle and do not make the 8 again. St Kilda look very mid table-ish still. Tigers Reiwoldt spits it bigtime and cops some weeks and a big fine. Hawks tread water, Buddy gets a long rest with bad hammy and Dogs struggle again. Dermie still brags about his time at the Hawks whilst we all drop off to sleep. I throw more stuff at the small screen when I have to listen to the purile crap that emanates from Ch 7 & Bruces gob !

Big interest from the Saints for Watts. Thought he was safe but an early 2nd round pick and another later pick are apparently going onto the table. Spencer is going and Vince to step down. Pederson is another who several clubs are showing high interest in, but surely he is safe? Looking for another seasoned midfielder but with good pace!

Gawn needs a bit more time and a "talking" to. Vince needs to play a more unselfish sort of game and impose his skills upon opponents more, Stretch out of sorts, and the Macbrothers + a few other defenders need to learn a fair bit more about minding/sticking to all opponent forwards. The whole squad looked less fit than the lions today. Ball handling was abysmal.

Jack not seen when it really counted. We had some other very timid players out there in the last qtr too. Something has to change. That and the 2 previous games should have been won. Who has got the kahoonas to lead in the clutch? No-one tonight did! We have the talent, it is just not emerging. This is a coaching dilemma.

Dawes underachieved and may play at a much lower level in 2017. Even allowing for multiple injuries he never did command a regular spot. Pedersen can be handy as a back up type but is a spare parts player at best.

Nothing has changed. We still play players who have no heart for a hard contest. Fancy getting done by that p155 w34k team who are just very average rabble. Time to send a message to those who choose to run from hard work and always flounder for their money. Leadership is barren once again. Roos has no way of motivating when we are being done over. And worse of all are the pathetic losers/bleaters who say........................................"Stick with us, give us time". Acceptance of this sort of performance has now killed this club.

Dog act by Rance, bet he would squeal like a pig if it happened to him or a team mate. 2 weeks down to 1. Rance really showed some prissiness when Jack came after him. Shows how tough he really is.....................as tough as a bowl full of dampened sorbent !! He did the soiling !

Predicting ourselves to win is frought with danger. Richmond at full strength can play great footy. Having a few still out injured is a worry to us. If our boys revert to the mindset when we played Essendon then ?????????? 4 hard qrtrs and nothing less may see us over the line. Attitude right now is paramount. Cockiness is the way to lose this game.

Marko (or whatever they moniker him with) was holding The Ox back bigtime. Ox will flourish even moreso now. He will drag in greatly improved ratings and in all honesty who will miss that moron and smart ar53 "Marko"? He was a [censored] and tried to be the senior partner with Ox, but never even got close to that.
