While you technological titans are fiddling with the space time continuum, can you tell me where Dangerfield ends up?

My mate is a crows supporter and his dogs name is Dangerfield, it farted today and I swear the fart sounded like it said 'Demons'

That's good enough for me and about the best sign yet.

No one has a clue, anyone who suggests otherwise are just feeding their ego.

Edit: last sentence.

It can't be us can it?

If I was running a book it would be something like this:

Adelaide - 2 : 1

Geelong - 5 : 1

Hawthorn - 7 : 1

Collingwood - 10 : 1

Melbourne - 20 : 1

Carlton - 33 : 1

Essendon - 500 : 1

I doubt Dangerfield would choose playing for Mr Ego who never proven anything as coach Nathan Buckley over Roos/Goodwin

Pies are falling apart at the seams

If it comes down to Dangerfield choosing us vs the Pies, I am backing us in and I never thought id be able to say that at least not for a few more years

Latest rumour is that Dangerfiled is so confused that he will seek solace and comtemplate in a Tibetan or Greek monastery next season. All that remains to be decided is whether he'd rather eat yak or goat. And choose to shave his head or grow a beard.

Operation get Danger ... I like it.

Pick 2 MFC = Patrick Dangerfield.

Crows may lose him as a free agent and only get a pick 11-15.

I believe it would require pick 2 and 3 for Danger and possibly pick 10, or even a 2nd rounder. You would think..We are capable of making a reasonable trade, however, I doubt we can satisfy Dangerfield :S

Quite a smug Chris Scott tonight when asked about Danger being linked to us and Collingwood:

"I think a lot of clubs like the idea of Dangerfield wearing their guernsey."

Also refused to answer questions about Mitch Clark meeting with Geelong because it's "inappropriate", and it's up to Mitch and his manager apparently.

Good blokes when I met them a couple of years back, but yep in football terms they are more than a bit annoying.

i actually think he handled the clark question and the dangerfield question perfectly.

some of the way that other coaches and players have behaved with wantaway players this impending off-season - grand final still to come, ffs! - has been disgraceful.

We would easily have enough salary cap space to sign all three of Dangerfield, Sloane and Tex

Ha, the DeeT'S, I'm shaking with deelight at this years trade & draft periods.

We are probably better off in reality trying to pull off a few more dom tyson/salem deals than throwing everything at one player. Clearly it sounds like we gave to pay more for danger than geelong (where i think he will end up).

how do you guys rate Taylor Adams year? Was highly touted but im not convinced that was a win for the pies.bb

cant see danger at the pies.

No, we need a star for once to attract people to our games, in particular young kids. Plus Geelong have nothing to offer Adelaide that would satisfy them, unless they're willing to trade Tom Hawkins. And I don't think Adelaide are stupid enough to let Danger walk into free agency either. If Danger leaves Adelaide, he should leave in 2014, otherwise, i expect him to stay

I'm sick of this conservative [censored]. I just want one, genuine A grader, not more draft picks. If it takes pick 2 and 3 to get Danger by himself, then i will be more than satisfied. Plus, imagine the effect it will have on people's perception on Melbourne when we have Dangerfield :)

agree

we need drastic measures to change the rut that this club is stuck in. Getting Roos himself was one such measure, now we need serious talent and we need it now

Having said that, if we miss out on Dangerfield but we draft similarly to last year and get a few solid ones like Tyson, Vince and Cross I will be pretty happy there too

Anything but hanging on to high draft picks and watching them get rolled every week. Anything but that, please.

    TRAINING: Wednesday 12th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock. HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. There’s a drill where Selwyn literally lies on top of Tracc, a trainer dribbles the ball towards them and Tracc has to g

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
