GOODBYE MITCH CLARK

Recommended Posts

Pathetic, just pathetic. Surely to goodness wishing serious injury on someone is a breach of the code of conduct. I will be really disappointed if this post does not result in a (lengthy) ban. Pathetic. One can only wonder what Robbie would have thought of such a sentiment.

that post is an attempt at comedy right

oh wait you used the phrase "Surely to goodness" tells me everything I need to know about you

One day he is going to look back and realise he threw away a dream and let down 30,000 people and he's going to think 'WTF did I do that for?'. Then he is going to dwell on that for the rest of his life. I would think this move is unlikely to be the best one for his future mental health. What would be better would be to heal his foot, go through rehab, come back and win a Coleman Medal. Wouldn't that be good for someone's emotional health? I know personally what it is like to be struggling emotionally and the last thing you want to do is throw in the towel as he is obviously doing. I know the garbage that mental health professionals speak and I would like to have a stern word with whoever it is that has advised him to go down this path. Horrible advice. Quite frankly he is being a coward, which is bad enough for anyone but when you are a person who is in a position that affects 30,000 others you should be aware of the responsibility that came with a dream being handed to you. Extremely disappointed.

I'm going to go into work on Monday armed with a list of people I hold in contempt and with Doctors note in hand demand they be removed from my sight pronto.

Nothing you have said in that post has been proven right.

And your comment earlier was a disgrace.

I just want to remind everyone that any comments wishing physical harm on a player are totally unacceptable and will result in a forced holiday from Demonland.

I know we are all angry at the situation but think before you post.

where do Demonlanders go when they get made to go on "holidays"? surely it can't be hell as we already live and breathe it by following this insipid football club.

You get sent a GWS membership in the mail, and must watch all 22 GWS matches in the flesh.

His words were in 2012 and since then we've sacked a coach, replaced our administration and Mitch spent the better part of 2 years out of the game recovering from a career threatening foot injury and clinical depression. He's clearly fallen out of love with our club but that doesn't make him a liar.

Well how about just a few weeks ago (allegedly) saying he wants to play for Melbourne - does that?

That post was an attempt at comedy? So i assume you think it was funny?

And you have the hubris to say that my use of the phrase surely to goodness tells you something about me? Right

Amazing and disappointing in equal measures you are still able to post.

The expression arguing with fools comes to mind so i'll stop.

You've got to be kidding. You were wide of the mark in April, and are even wider now. It's got nothing to do with what he regrets, or even what he feels, and your comment re mental health professionals shows how little grasp of the reality of Mitch's situation you actually have.

CB your an absolute disgrace and pathetic of a poster for that comment.

I too have been angry at Mitch for what he has done but I would never wish anyone paraplegic after seeing the effect it has had on mates.

I have a reliable source that tells me that the club has washed their hands with Mitch Clark as they have found out he has been shopping around clubs since early in the year and that privately they are fuming after all they did for him when they were told he had depression they will not say anything publicaly but privately they are fuming.

Have been saying so for weeks. The guy is a manipulative user and deserves nothing but our contempt.

Dunn should issue an apology as well.

Why should Dunn apologise for his comments aimed at the more abusive posters? Some people are far too sensitive.

Funny that cause I heard on sen something like that all indications were that Cooollingwood had him stitched up and Geelong came in with a more attractive offer and he decided to go there at the last min.

Is there a pattern emerging here?????

Amazing really how some just follow the $$$$$$$$$$ regardless of the consequences.

Don't get me wrong I know we all prefer more $$ but there are ways of getting it that don't make u out to be a lying self centred money hungry parasite.

If pick 33 is enough for Harry, we win as i'm pretty sure we were floating our 2nd round pick for him when first discussed. It will be good to still have that up our sleeves seeing a similar pick landed us Vince last year.

I'm just praying we play the Cats at the G this year.

Cats always land on their feet ,then cry.

They moan about Black Dogs etc then cry.

I can see lots of fun on the horizon as the trade period starts in earnest next week.

Yes. All this discussion already and nothing achieved! Can't wait until next week!

But maggotwood may have thought that would have been around low 20's

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. Lack of preparation after a problematic preseason prevented Oliver from reaching the high standards set before last year’s hamstring woes. BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin
