You dont understand.

He is Tasmanian.

Just like Biff and BBO,its a normal trait for these islanders.

Nothing like a bit of cultural stereotyping, eh jazza...

Ah, Me Either!! If anyone can turn him around St. Paul can!

I have no problem in "St Paul" trying to get the best footballing talent out of a player - I have a problem with bringing in players that are problematic like Robinson.

Roos extracted talent out of players like Ted Richards for example - he wasn't a cultural problem. The only risky player I can think of that Roos took on was Barry Hall ?

We had many here that wanted to try and get Fevola to our club - I just don't get it. We have enough problems with finding talented footballers that we have to go and find players with attitude problems also ?

Firrstly, he fails the NDH rules.

Whats more how could any of us barrack for a player who snidingly tagged us as 'bruise free'. It was the snideness that was as annoying as the comment.

The same way numerous Demonlanders have forgotten how much they used to slate Paul Roos in 2012 & 13 when he was commenting on Melbournes list and footy skills.

A lot on here seem to have amnesia about their previous thoughts/comments in regard to Roos. I will barrack for anyone who wears the red & blue, leaves nothing on the field and plays like they give a damn

We may have been playing 'bruise free' football but this moron consistently play brain free football.

I don't mind young immature players who make mistakes. But Robinson is passed that. It's the second time he's brawled in public (that we know of) and he's lied about it. What's going to stop him spreading that culture?

And he's crap anyway. He's not getting a game in top 4 side. He'd offer us minimum initial improvement and after that we'd be stuck with him.

No talent

Poor off-field behaviour

Openly disrespectful to our club

Where do I sign?

I can just hear this in my head in the voice of the dwarf from Lord of the Rings.

Are you suggesting that Tasmanians have culture?

Nope.

Nope nope.

Nope nope nope nope nope.

Nope.

Never a truer word spoken Goffy

There is a difference between a wayward talent and just plain wayward. As an experienced player, in Mitch we would be importing the same unprofessional, leadership free drongo we have been trying to eradicate from the club

Nope nope nope

We have to stop recruiting other clubs Leftovers.

The guy lives in the Reject shop.

Cross was a leftover.

We just need to be smart in the recruiting.

It now comes out that not only did he get into a punch up - he lied to the club and told them injury occurred in a sparring contest.. yeah..right.....

The NDH policy does not apply to Robinson as he is so much more than just a DH - I think we might need to install a NFW policy to capture the likes of Robinson.

Had you said we don't need to recruit other clubs idiots or NQR's then you don't get an argument from me.

And after hearing the "True" story leaving Garlett to fend for himself that not only spells the end of his time at Carlton but possibly career.

I retract my comments, I do not want a bloke that leaves his teammate already in trouble and lying further putting them both in the lurch!

Sorry now extreme pass!

How many posts will it be before someone says Carlton will probably get rid of him and we should have a look at getting him on our list? It's bound to happen... where is Mike Nolan when we need him?

Assumed that's what this thread was going to be and came in for the carnage.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
