Demon trucker

i am seeking help from all you Demonland demon worshippers, i have been looking up the ancient demon text, on breaking curses this monday is the 31s t of march and on this monday it is a new moon, in the ancient text if this chant is recited at midnight on a new moon if it will end a curse, And it will bring in a new era.

So if many believe, and if many recite the chant at midnight on the 31st of march monday night, when the new moon is in the sky.

oh the man of the underworld, oh dear spirit of norm smith, arise awaken at the sight of a new era, norm smith forgive the past, this is the present a new club, let it once again be great and mighty, let the demons football club rise above the football world, enough time has passed let the healing begin, enough time has passed

So how many believe, so how many will join me and recite the chat.

"Hey Norm you were treated badly...I sympathize with you 100% But now you should rest and enjoy.

50 years is when copyright often runs out.

It is time to hunt down the elusive 13th and not just hope the club doesn't implode.

Can we have big crowds at the MCG again please Norm?"

Do we have to kill a chicken (make and animal sacrifice) and cover ourselves in its blood? Just checkin before I commit.

Buy one from the supermarket......Save a lot of blood and mess....

Being a modern man of science I scoff at such superstious mumbo jumbo. On the other hand being a Melbourne supporter come the full moon on the 31st I will chanting the house down. Not only that I will do it naked. I don't know if being starkers will help the cause much, but it can only add to the general ambience of the moment.

Sorry, you have got it wrong.

It is not the Norm Smith curse.

A few years ago I was talking to a bloke from Bonnie Doon and funnily his name is also Norm - seriously.

He said he was there in 64, towards the end of the game he said, "I don't care if we never win another flag just give us this one".

Maybe he got his wish?

I will take a chook to his place on the way to the match on Sunday.

Well desperate times call for desperate measures...

I was in Italy last year about the same time the Paul Roos coaching decision was being made. I went into every church I walked passed in Italy and Croatia and lit so many candles and sent a silent prayer each time praying for Paul Roos to be the Melbourne coach. My knees were sore from so much kneeling.

Stranger things have happened so why not?

I'm all for superstitious mumbo jumbo, but can we please spare the chooks?

This is serious Mr Rhode Island Red. Surely you would sacrifice a distant relative for a flag.

I have twice offered my mother in law for sacrifice, the silly old chook.

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the

GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne

It's Game Day and it very well could be the last roll of the dice for the Demon's finals aspirations in 2024. A loss to the bottom side would be another embarrassing moment in a cursed year for the Dees whilst a win could be the spark they need to reignite the fire in the belly.

    THE HUNTER by The Oracle

Something struck me as I sat on the couch watching the tragedy of North Melbourne’s attempt to beat Collingwood unfold on Sunday afternoon at the MCG.    It was three quarter time, the scoreboard had the Pies on 12.7.79, a respectable 63.16% in terms of goal kicking ratio. Meanwhile, the Roos’ 18.2.110 was off the charts at 90.00% shooting accuracy. I was thinking at the same time of Melbourne’s final score only six days before, a woeful 6.15.51 or 28.57% against Collingwood’s 14.5.89

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t
